Great deal can't argue that. Thinking about taking the plunge. My only complaint is no prime shipping :(

Oh wait free shipping! Yay! For sure buying now :)

I saw the Zippo company is on the list that supports SOPA.

So screw Zippo and screw giving them any business.

this is a pretty good deal... in for one

WOW.
These must be selling FAST..

I clicked like a minute ago and there were a few sellers + free shipping AND a prime option. Now there are 2 sellers, no prime..

Crazy.

[edit] On second thought, that's a lie. I looked at the wrong window :)

My Zippo has been one of my favorite gifts that I've received. They have a lifetime warranty on them, too, so I never worry about breaking my good lighter. With semi regular use, 4oz of fluid should last six months to a year.

Zippo supports SOPA? What the hell? I just decided to look at the list and a lot of the companies supporting it makes sense to me since piracy cuts into their profits. Piracy does not directly affect Zippo so I don't even know why they care. I have a couple Zippos and enough flints to last a lifetime. Don't really need another more.

This is a good deal if you want a lighter though. Just make sure you don't overfill and don't drop it. Zippo has a lifetime warranty but they don't cover the finish.

@jasonextra: Yes but all their lighters are made not in china not in any overseas country but right here in good ole USA!

I loved zippos back in the day, and was planning on getting another one, but .. SOPA? Really? Wonder what the kickback was..

Not gonna get a zippo. (In fact, I'll probably - intentionally - buy a chinese knockoff.)

@disconnect: So you would rather send your money oversees .........than buy an american made product....how American of you.

@jasonextra: "I saw the Zippo company is on the list that supports SOPA"

And what do you know, I myself overheard someone saying the Zippo lighter were a sort of like first cousins of Frank Zappa. That was more than a couple of years ago.

@moorerandall: One, who says he is American? As an American, I actually would rather send my money overseas than to see the current politicians go against everything our Constitution stands for. Two you can see there's a couple angry people here that want an authoritarian rule over the internet. America is trying to become like China and police everything even when they have no right to.

@rabidmonkeyoncrack: To be fair, Zippo does not support SoPA directly. They support legislation that helps them protect their IP. And actually, piracy/counterfeiting affects Zippo A LOT. As an avid Zippo collector, I can peruse eBay and find tens if not hundreds of knock off Zippos with all the markings of a real Zippo. In fact, as of late, it's getting very tough to spot a "Rippo", because they are getting so good at copying Zippos. Worse is the websites that will sell knock off lighters and almost every 4th word in the description is "Zippo". These knock offs hurt their profits, which means that they have to let people who work for them go. Since Zippo's are still made in the US, this means that it directly impacts US citizens, not just some "greedy" corporation. They also damage their reputation, as they may LOOK like a Zippo, but they are not MADE like a Zippo, and are not covered by their lifetime guarantee.

@gitemstevedave: That's all well and good, but SOPA/PIPA wouldn't help that situation very much. There are already laws in place to attack counterfeiters, putting the ability to take down websites at a whim is dangerously unnecessary. It certainly wouldn't change the fact that people are getting better at making fake Zips.

I'm with the rest of them, as long as Zippo is backing this garbage I'm only interacting with them if I need one of mine replaced. No more fluid, no more flints, and certainly no more lighters.
