In for 1, I always seem to misplace random wrenches, maybe this time I'll actually keep all of them in this convenient case!

@mtm2: Thanks! It always seems that whenever I get a new tool/set of tools I tell myself I will keep them in a nice, clean, and organized state..it never happens.

Do these have the same warranty as Craftsman tools? It's hard to break a combination wrench, but it's still nice to be able to return hand tools if they don't hold up. Also, I just posted a better deal on a larger set of Stanley wrenches at Amazon.

@studerc: I've got 4 sons (youngest is now 23). As they grew up it's amazing how I'd come home (after being gone 7 days or so) and find things left out they were using when I left!

Then there is the disappearing tools....

And some things still haven't changed!

Am I missing something, are these metric?

Pretty vague description. No mention of the sizes or whether they are SAE or metric. $49.99 seems a little steep to me for Stanley, which are all made in China now. These appear to be the longer, full polished set, but you could probably get a comparable set at Harbor Freight for half this price. As for the warranty - If they do have a lifetime warranty you will have to send them in for replacement. Takes weeks, plus you have to pay the shipping.

@rosariorose9: Maybe if you're on a $10.00 budget... SnapOn by far is the best! It's the only thing I have in my house!

Unlike Crappyman tools you have to mail these in to Stanley.
