Only free shipping with Prime, seems to be $4.29 w/o Prime.
@shadowhunter312: Free shipping? Where we're going we don't need free shipping.
The hideousness of that hat will haunt me forever.
@shadowhunter312: But putting a filler in your cart would be cheaper than paying for shipping. Always something for everyone on Amazon.
Great Scott! This is awesome!
Also a little sad. I can't imagine anyone even recognizing what this is unless you told them (or were wearing other items to match).
This seems more reasonably priced than those $10,000 shoes. Also about the same level of dorkiness.
I'm still holding out for the self-drying jacket.
@sclark89: I know...it just bothers me a little when people put free shipping in the title for Prime instead of just calling it out in the description. Was just listing shipping for completion out of habit.
Please note this is not a true replica as detailed from an Amazon review (who obviously has way too much time on his hands):
"...a few details are are missing like the ball cap on the top and under the peak is all black when it is supposed to be the rainbow color..."
@wnyx585am: It would be amazing to wear the complete ensemble and see if anyone notices. You'd definitely blend in more in, say, New York City, but certainly there would be someone who would catch it :)
What, do my kids turn out to be @ssholes?
If it came with a free hoverboard I'd be in!
@beautyofmachines: I heard that they actually made hoverboards but they were banned by the government for being too dangerous or something. Thats what I heard.
@wnyx585am: "Size adjusting- FIT.........Drying mode on. Jacket drying. Your jacket is now dry."
@urbsnspices
That was an urban legend disproven long ago.
@bneal123: Kinda silly to think anyone still believes that. :P
If you want the matching jacket, just go to http://batmj.com/back-to-the-future-bttf-marty-mcfly-jacket-at-2015-in-red-p-5.html
It isn't cheap, though you'd think it would be self drying for that price. :P
This would go great with my new Nikes http://nikemag.ebay.com/shoes
Believe me, I am not trolling here. I actually bought this hat about a year ago. This hat in person looks absolutely amazing, however, it also absolutely sucks in its main function (being a hat). I have an average size head and can usually wear hats that are large. Though this hat does have a strap on the back, the problem is the length of the hat. As in, the hat will sit about 2 inches+ above your ears. No matter how tight you have this thing strapped on, it'll more than likely slip off the top of your head because of this. Plus there is virtually no air flow through the hat. The material is a solid plastic-like material that scratches fairly easily, and if you have an indention in your hat, it will likely be there forever. The non-breathable material mixed with the velvet-like material used to line the interior of the hat makes for almost instantaneous sweat. Overall great looking conversation piece, but if you are looking forward to wearing it often, then this is probably a no go.
@k1ttenm1tten: So in other words, good as a costume piece but not an actual hat.
@basileverstar: True story. It is really strange though, the hat does look like a normal sized until you put it on. So even as a costume piece, it will look like you are wearing a "junior" sized hat (if those exist).
@k1ttenm1tten: If I were to dress up in a Back to the Future costume it wouldn't be the future era cause that is what everyone would do. I would dress up in the cheesy cowboy outfit that 50s doc gave to Marty. ;)
@coondogg97: Haunted by a hat? what are you? CHICKEN!?!?!
"CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs." Good luck fitting that whole hat in your mouth... challenge accepted
@ndcouch: I guess I shouldn't have used a Mr. Deeds reference in a Back To The Future post. I have learned the err of my ways................
@coondogg97: i didn't care, i was just looking for an excuse to call someone chicken so i could get in on the movie fun
Came to 29.00 total. Well worth it IMO. Cant wait.
use http://www.filleritemfinder.com/ or another amazon filler finder to pad your order a bit for free shipping. need a ream of paper? baby formula? undies? get that for the same price as paying for shipping and getting nothing :)
