We're not going to beat around the bush. The only reason we're selling this product is because of its name. "Screwnicorn", like the mythical creature for which it is named, is pure linguistic magic.

While perfectly capable of opening bottles of wine, we suspect the true intent behind the creation of the Screwnicorn was to give us all a fantastic new noun and verb.

With the unicorn corkscrew, you're not opening a bottle of wine; you're screwnicorning it. Buy yours today...before your friends do!

That perhaps is the tackiest thing I have ever seen, to date.

But the name?

Screwnicorn? That's just golden....arches.
I mean, if there can be a movie about "Mac and Me"?
Why not a series entitled Screwnicorn? It just...

Maybe it could gore the My Little Ponies, or open Strawberry Shortcake's cooking sherry? Something to think about, network execs, something to think about. Or as my down and out friend Arsenio would say,

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
