How do swap email addresses?

vote-for19vote-against

@tarasadies: Look at the URL when you click the link. In the field marked EMAIL= replace "youremail%40place.com" with ANY email address. Then hit enter so that the URL loads again with the new EMAIL= value.

@tarasadies: In the url in your browsers address bar you will find the text "youremail" and replace that with your actual email name and right after that replace the text "place.com" with your email extension like gmail.com.

Awesome, thanks to both of you!

This is a GREAT deal. The first time I have come across a $20 off anything less than $150. Thank You, Thank You for posting!!!

I have to say I'm still confused about how to change the email address. Selecting the link opens a blank email with yourname@place.com in the To field. There is nothing else in the email. What am I actually supposed to do here?

I think multiple users having problems should indicate this is not an intuitive design.

---update
I figured out updating the URL in the new window. Is this a legitimate Woot offer? Editing the URL seems like a hack and not something Home Depot or Woot would normally do.

@jefflknight: Don't click the youremail@place.com link, use the "I want one" button, or the link to homedepot.

Might be easier if you change it directly from here, so here you go, copy and paste all of the below, and change the part that is bolded:

I've noticed the barcode actually changes depending on what email address you enter. Any chance their computer is going to crosscheck their email list to see if I'm on there? Or do you think it's just noting your email address for future mailings? Anyone who isn't on the email blast attempt to use this yet?

vote-for2vote-against

@firebirdude: Used it before without being on the mailing list. I think it is there to prevent people from using the same email address over and over. As noted, if you view it 3 times with the same email address, I believe that barcode gets disabled.

...and it also doesn't say anything regarding the purchase of gift cards. Might be worth a shot. Even if it's just to extend this offer indefinitely.

More saving. More honey-doing.

Good timing, I need to run a power line to my pool pump and this will help ease the cost of copper.

I had dug a trench in my backyard to run conduit for speaker and power wires to my deck, speaker wire for the outdoor speakers I got during the wootoff and power because hell, having power outside is awesome; but I found the power line that was ran for the pool pump with my shovel and now need to run a new line, this time with conduit

This is awesome! I need mulch, so this will come in really, really handy!

nice, now I can finally buy that window A/C I've been eyeing

I wish there was a way to get Lowes to PM this... Could be stacked with the Vornado tower fan I saw on clearance and make an incredible deal...

vote-for2vote-against

dead. says its already been used

vote-for2vote-against

Not working for me. Keeps saying offer has already been redeemed.

vote-for2vote-against

Thanks, everyone, but I've tried all of these ways and still can't get it to work. I think they've gotten wise or had programmed it to only allow so many redemptions with each character string. Am I wrong? Anyone able to redeem this after, say, 10:40 am EDT?

Good deal, though, and one I'd gladly use. We just bought an 80-year-old house that needs a LOT of work—mostly aesthetics, efficiency, and convenience stuff, thankfully, but still.

vote-for2vote-against

Pooh! I really could have used this, too!

vote-for2vote-against

Anyone tried using at the store yet?

vote-for3vote-against

I just used one and got my $20 off no questions asked. Thanks original poster! This deal is confirmed by me for what thats worth. Ill report back on my attempts to use a duplicate :p

Anyone try to buy a gift card with one of these? I got six of these printed and ready to use. :-)

vote-for1vote-against

I think it's pretty standard that dollars or percent off coupons cannot be used to buy gift cards.
