#1 son tells me these are pretty darned nice. Lots of bass and clear tones.

@lavikinga: Good to hear a first hand report. The reviews on Amazon were excellent, but I've seen bluetooth speakers much less expensive so I wanted to make certain that this is worth the extra money. Sounds as though it is! Thanks!

A little concerned here - the Amazon link doesn't go to anything related to the product. There don't appear to be any Amazon reviews for this specific item (I used "urge basics bluetooth" as the search) - in fact I'm having trouble finding reviews for this item anywhere

@lavikinga: Are you sure this is the same speaker that your son spoke well of? This is a visual clone of the Jawbone Jambox, which does get excellent reviews and sounds very good - could he perhaps be referring to that?

@evilmicrowizard: You know, I wonder if he was thinking that exact thing? I had the browser open to the tanga page when he saw it and made the comment this morning. We had been in the local apple store and had seen something similar for around a C note.

@evilmicrowizard: Dang! I had posted another deal about the same time and accidently included that link to the Amazon reviews! Sorry about that. Here is the one to these speakers. There are different posts for each different color and I don't see a review on this one, but it appears to be the same item.

I just received the one I ordered from Woot last week and I'm happy to report, that to my non-audiophile ears, it sounds excellent. Clear, crisp, sound and good bass from what I can tell and paired it with my iPhone and started playing in about 10 seconds. If $37 shipped is not a major investment for you, I think you'll be pretty happy with this.

@cwarriorx: Thanks for the review! Have you heard a Jawbone Jambox by any chance, and can you compare?
