The Batmobile in this series is the best looking and sounding Batmobile ever

I AM VENGEANCE, I AM THE NIGHT, I AM BATMAN!

When I think of what batman should sound like it's Kevin Conroy's voice I hear. Also, Mark Hamill's version of The Joker is excellent!

@hossdawg97: Agreed. Even though I'm a diehard Marvel fan, I believe this series redefined what animation and voice acting can and should be.

And it's Batman.

@phaedrusz: Did you also see the Superman Animated Series also on WB?

I remember coming home and watching both shows (along with Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, etc.) every day after school.

Once these shows ended, I started reading the comics to get my Batman and Superman fix and was surprised to find the kids shows very faithful to most of the source material. I sometimes catch reruns on HUB (kids tv channel) and both series hold up well over time. The art style of Batman still looks good.

The Harley Quinn episode (where Harleen Quinzel becomes Joker's sidekick) was intelligent and delved into complex psychological issues and disorders. Sometimes I can't believe it was made for kids.

I loved the series. I remember when I got Arkham City and heard my favorite voice actors. All I can say I giggled like a child. I agree with jeshia about the Batmobile, I loved the burble of the V8(sounds like one). Great deal.
