dealstarget ... lego - buy one, get second for 50% off.

vote-for1vote-against

Yeah for LEGO specials, but the NXT is sadly not included...

vote-for3vote-against

I +1, but its all CITY stuff, and I have most of these from 1990 anyways haha.

vote-for2vote-against

FYI...Discount expires 10Dec @ 11:59pm.

I plan to rob them blind. lol

vote-for5vote-against

no Architecture series, I am disappoint.

vote-for3vote-against

bogo at Toysrus too. Both instore and online. I found some stuff online, but didn't want to pay shipping so I went to the store and they price matched their own website.

vote-for5vote-against

Yeah, but you can't build anything cool with only two Lego blocks.

vote-for2vote-against

Star Wars LEGOS aren't included :(

vote-for2vote-against

Thanks for the heads up. I must add that this deal is not limited to LEGO; notably included: NERF!

@sgruff: It means "buy one set, get one at 50% off". NO ONE ever thinks "a Lego" is one brick!

vote-for7vote-against

But of course Star Wars legos or Batman legos aren't on sale. That's what the kids really want.

vote-for2vote-against

@chrisw6atv: I could be mistaken, but I believe @sgruff was utilizing a new literary technique called "irony". See: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/irony for more information on this fascinating new development in language! ;-)

vote-for2vote-against

@babmeers you are mistaken, that wasn't irony, he's just being silly.

vote-for7vote-against

I bought a bunch of Lego City stuff last week. Saw the sale in last Sunday's paper. Took my receipt back to the local Target and they did a price adjustment on it (ie. refunded all items and resold them to me at the new prices). Target's policy applies to purchases made within 7 days.

Just thought I'd mention it for those who might have recently bought some of the sale items at full price.

vote-for1vote-against

I wish they had some Pirates of the Caribbean as well, but no such luck. I was hoping for a sale on the Black Pearl.

vote-for2vote-against

@derek1080: @silentlegend: Check out the Toys R Us link @sguide posted above, fairly good Star Wars Lego selection included in their BOGO half off special.

vote-for1vote-against

(edit: sorry, missed the original TRU poster above. Here's a different link to the same info.)

FYI, Toys'R'Us has a similar deal on Legos, and they run it intermittently throughout the year. The lineup of Legos currently BOGO 50% off is here:

http://www.toysrus.com/sitemap/index.jsp?categoryId=12433727&s=A-Description-TRUS&searchSort=TRUE

There are actually two pages, though it's hard to see the page numbers there. Includes selected sets from product lines like Lego Harry Potter, Cars 2, Architecture, Atlantis, Creator, Bionicle, Hero Factory, Mindstorms, etc.

vote-for1vote-against

Ugh, I retract my previous comment. The Star Wars ones at TRU aren't BOGO half off after all. @bls1 link shows the ones that are, unfortunately it also shows all the ones that are out of stock. I was totally going to spend about $100, but TRU has made it way too frustrating and complicated to try and get the deal, so I'm out.

vote-for2vote-against

vote-for1vote-against

And before anyone asks, no I don't work for TRU. ;)

vote-for1vote-against

@chicken0102: Sorry for all the posts. Some Pirates of the Caribbean are BOGO 50% off at TRU as well. I'll spare people the list this time.

vote-for1vote-against

The Toys R Us links work however - if you try adding them to cart it does not automatically deduct 50% off either of them. I also cannot find anything on the ToysRUs promotion on their site or anywhere else. I saw a similar woot for Buy 2 get 1 90% off for Legos, but, haven't tried that one yet. The only current ToysRus promotion that is VALID and working on their site is, there is a selection of Free Lego minifigure Clocks and Watches that if you buy $75 worth of legos or more, you can select one. And THAT one does deduct from the cart. So not sure about this other BOGO50% one because it sure isn't working for me :\ Needless to say this is highly dissapointing because my son, like probably everyone else's kids, only wants the Star Wars ones, and maybe Ninjago (also exlcuded all the time from these promotions). Weak.

vote-for0vote-against

Does anyone know about a Legos ambulance? My boyfriend's 8 year old son wants it for Christmas, but I didn't see it at the Target website.

vote-for1vote-against

@bls1: The architecture series seems to be BOGO, but the star wars ones aren't. They come with a free figure.

vote-for0vote-against

I did find the ambulance at the Toys R Us website. Thanks for the link!

vote-for2vote-against

@bls1: They aren't doing BOGO 50% off for those. It's just a free minifigure that you get. Read underneath the title.

vote-for1vote-against

Lego's make the world go round.

vote-for1vote-against

@derek1080: No, they are still doing BOGO 50% off at TRU. Here is their latest email on the subject (online version):
