How does this rebate option work? Is it actually 'money back' or does it have to be spent with this company?

@acowfrog: NVM I found it.

This rebate MUST be postmarked within 30 days of purchase.
This rebate is in USD currency and may be paid with a prepaid reward card.
NOTICE: Limit (1) ONE rebate per person, billing address, company, or household

Is it worth doing the rebate?

@fredwallace18: this deal sucks if you end up with a store credit

it would be better if the price was in the title

For the ones who dont know about rebates yes they give you money, but not immediately. Rebates are one of those things you do, but dont expect it to come back. That way a month later you will be suprised when you have an x amount of money.Depending on the company it could take 20 days if your lucky or 3 months.

@benmason: That's odd. I submit 'em, add 'em to my calendar to check on in 6 weeks. I've never had to check on them, ALWAYS received them. Always.

@itgwholesale: Don't forget that TigerDirect bought out CompUSA (kings of the non-working rebates) because CompUSA had a better customer service reputation.

In other words, the rebate probably won't show up. I'd just look for a $9 keyboard somewhere else and be thankful that you didn't bother. You likely have more interesting things to do with your time.
