BEST FIND OF THE DAY!!! I just called my Target and reserved their only 2 copies!!! That's 2 Christmas presents down. One is obviously for me :)

vote-for7vote-against

@dpn0121: If you searched by zip code, try searching by city name and state instead. The zip code search doesn't seem to be working at all right now, but the city/state search should show you the stores near you even if the dvd set is out of stock there.

vote-for3vote-against

This says online price. If I go to the store right now will I be able to get it at this price?

vote-for5vote-against

This is without doubt a really good deal but I have to ask....
With decent Blu-Ray players within reach for under $50 these days who's still watching DVDs? These movies are at their absolute best in high definition. Many scenes are just breathtaking.

vote-for8vote-against

Holy crap, this is an amazing price.

vote-for3vote-against

@rcp519: Is the price the same for in-store purchase?

vote-for6vote-against

Yes, it works in store. Just bought 2 of them!! A great deal!

vote-for2vote-against

I'm going to Target tomorrow!

vote-for3vote-against

Excellent find! It's good to see Target step it up...

vote-for2vote-against

Just reserved the last one at my local store! Awesome!! Kids will love it.

vote-for5vote-against

Is anyone actually finding this deal available? I'm seeing it unavailable online and not in stock within any Target in a 100 mile radius of my home or work locations. If someone is able to get this deal, more power to you, but it's a bust for me.

vote-for4vote-against

Got it!! Store only had 2 copies. Employees didn't know anything about it.

vote-for1vote-against

just got two of the last three at my target.

vote-for1vote-against

None at any store near me (DC area). Yikes! Wish I knew at 8am this morning or something.

vote-for2vote-against

mozzerrocks - Someone without an HDTV would have pretty much no use for a Blu Ray player, so DVD would be fine. And it's a really good deal.

vote-for1vote-against

Thank you!!! Called up my local Target and reserved the last two copies. One for me, the other will be the best Christmas gift anyone ever received :)

vote-for1vote-against

Got the last one by me! Most of my local stores didn't have it, but one did. So good. Thank you!!!!

vote-for1vote-against

Yet again, went to my local Target which online said had limited stock, they had none, not even a spot for it either! This is not the first time this has happened to me with this Target, so bummed right now!!! Going to try another location tomorrow if it is still on sale

vote-for1vote-against

I went to my Target, with "limited stock" and they had none on the shelves but 4 in the back room. I bought two and the employee that got them out for me put the other two on reserve for himself to buy later. No one there knew the deal was going on. Woot!

vote-for1vote-against

Yeah they had two in the back, nothing on the shelves for it. They had two and one of them was mysteriously bought by someone else by the time I got there at 10:30 PM on a Thursday night lol, one of the employees bought the other one.

vote-for1vote-against

Thanks so much for posting this! Just called two of my local Targets. The second had to look twice but he found it in the back. Seems like they aren't even putting them out. I bought both the ones they had. I'm sooo excited to finally have the complete collection and for cheaper than buying the couple more that I need! Anyone looking to get these, make sure when you call that they check the backroom and not just the front stock.

vote-for1vote-against

Called my local Target a few hours ago and they had just sold the last three to somebody. Hmmmm. One of you, perhaps?

Ah, well. I already have all of the DVDs, purchased individually as they were released. Would have made a great gift, though.

And @mozzerrocks, I stuck with DVDs. We have a blu-ray player in the den and the kids tend to buy blu-rays on occasion, but we rarely buy movies anymore so we aren't too concerned about changing out the system in the living room.

DO NOT EVER CALL!!!

Here's the situation. You call and say, "Do you have the Harry Potter Collection for $10?" The employee says, "Let me check." Said employee realizes they do, wants it for himself, tells another employee who also wants it (it's a great deal), and says, "Sorry. We're sold out."

DO NOT EVER CALL!!!!!

vote-for1vote-against

I called ahead to hold them. Picked them up from Electronics and when the cashier rang me up, she "wanted to check something" before I was done with my transaction. When she was done scanning and typing she looked at me and said, "You got the last 2."

YUP! I DID! AND I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE!

vote-for1vote-against

I grabbed two and left one for someone else. Gonna be a great gift for someone this season.

vote-for1vote-against

Awesome deal. Just make sure you have the DPCI handy - the employees look at your like you're crazy when you bring up the price.

vote-for1vote-against

Looks like my store may actually have them. Guess I know where one of my stops tomorrow is now!

vote-for1vote-against

I got the last one at the store I went to. Called and the guy in electronics knew nothing about it, but online said limited stock. Limited to the one I had them get me out of the back. Was tempted to got to another one nearby and buy theirs up too, but it's late. :-)

vote-for3vote-against

@baybei: Better make it for right when the doors open.

vote-for0vote-against

I tried calling on one of their red phones twice but never got a reply. The guy in electronics was swamped! They were so busy tonight. I thought they may have it in back, but couldn't get anybody to help me. This has happened to me several times at this particular location & they have never found what I am looking for, even though it says limited stock, I am going to a different one tomorrow & hopefully it still on sale!!!

This is a great deal! It is about $34 on amazon right now for the 8 DVDs. We got the blue ray set from amazon's UK site when it was about $60 I think, which was great! I want the DVD set for my mom though!

vote-for1vote-against

Squeee I got one!
I went during my dinner break, and one of the guys working there helped me look on the shelves. No luck. Later on after work, I printed out the Target page and brought it with me. I talked to the same guy, and told him that some of the Target stores had them in the back. He got some numbers from the page, and checked, there were two left. Yay! I only took one of them.

vote-for0vote-against

Just called my target and there was two in the back. When i got there they said do you know how much this is. I said yes ten bucks. The other guys that works there asked if there were anymore and the guy that got mine said he was buying it already. ;)

vote-for1vote-against

We got this on Blu-Ray via a deals.woot tip-off about a year ago. Awesome movies, I do highly recommend them in Blu-Ray but this is a killer deal if you want DVD's

vote-for1vote-against

This is great for me to throw in the car with the portable DVD player for the little cousins to watch on long car trips.

vote-for9vote-against

to find out in store bypass the employees just use the scanner and manually put in 058-21-0440 that will tell you if they have it in stock and the price

vote-for1vote-against

I hope the blu ray version of this comes along for a decent price pretty soon. I keep seeing the individual ones for fairly cheap.

vote-for-5vote-against

Target - Does not alllow Salvation Army bell ringers, and now they open on Thanksgiving so their employees can spend the holiday with their co-workers whom they love so much. No thanks. Target is off the mark. Bah, HUMBUG!

vote-for7vote-against

I don't see what the big deal is about the Salvation Army. What makes bell-ringing so invaluable that a store that forbids it is a pariah? You want to give to the SA, give to it.

vote-for0vote-against

I just ordered this set on Blu-Ray through the UK Amazon website for what translated to $43.30. Hopefully it'll play in my blu-ray player. But I'm getting this set at my local Target too. My son only has a DVD player and he'd love to have this whole set. Merry Christmas.

vote-for1vote-against

I called several with "limited stock" and they said they didn't have any and their computers were showing none in stock. Has anyone tried getting a raincheck for this deal?

vote-for0vote-against

I had to call 3 different "limited stock" stores and third time was a charm! Snagged the last 3 they had. Thanks!!!

vote-for3vote-against

Will try to pick up at our local store that has "limited stock" - I'd rather they not allow bell ringers if they're not going to let other local non-profits do anything in front of their stores. At least it's a consistent policy. And I don't agree with some of SA's stances, particularly their willingness to condemn certain people, and refuse to help them.

vote-for2vote-against

managed to get the last one that the Target in Albany GA had this morning!

vote-for1vote-against

Just snagged one at my local store here in VA! Thanks a lot for the heads up!
