Has anyone purchased beef jerky online? I love this brand but how do I know that it's fresh?

My wife likes to purchase beef jerky online and so far she hasn't been disappointed. At this price, I think its worth the risk. I'll be getting some for my wife for her birthday in a couple weeks.
