Firefly - The Complete Series on DVD for $15.99
Firefly, aka "That Joss Whedon show", which Richard Castle classifies as "good sci-fi" along with the likes of Battlestar and Star Wars.
I have no idea why anyone wouldn't have this yet, but, if you don't, this is a pretty good price for one of the best shows currently residing on the brilliant but cancelled channel. And, also, running as a marathon on the Science Channel today (Sunday 11 November) prior to the Firefly reunion show this evening (10pm Eastern, 9pm Woot! Time).
The entire series, all 14 episodes; handful of extras; free shipping with Amazon Prime or $25 order. Makes a great Christmas gift
Marathon on SyFy currently!
Looks like you can stream it for free with a Prime membership, but that might not last.
Unfortunately there was already an amazing deal on this plus many other Joss Wheedon-related series two or weeks ago. I think I got the Firefly Blu-ray for less than this deal. For anyone with Netflix you already have access to both Firefly and the Serenity movie.
@haschel: You don't get it. It's Firefly. You have to +1!
@wootfast: Actually it's on Science channel right now.
Isn't that Firefly special on tonight, where the whole cast gets together and revisits the show and talks about what it iwas, what it became, and what it did for them, etc...?
Just a heads up for those braving Black Friday - Best Buy is going to have it for $7.99
@dazoneranger: Yes. 10pm Eastern, 9pm Woot! time on the Science channel.
do i have science channel?
@wootfast: Start flipping channels. If you see people riding horses and flying space ships in the same episode, swearing by their pretty floral bonnet to end someone, playing with dinosaurs, trying to trade a gun for a girl, going to the crappy town where one of the characters is a hero or anything else amazingly awesome today, you probably do.
