How is this a deal? This is the normal price and shipping is not free.
I tried a couple samples of these at an emergency preparedness shop in Idaho a few weeks ago. They didn't taste too bad, considering the intended purpose. Personally I prefer high-calorie food bars as long as they have a 5-year min. shelf life.
Never said it was a special price although it is the cheapest price online I could find. I posted it because it was something different and in terms of how much typical survival food cost, incredibly cheap in comparison. They are light and compact for ease in bugging out if needed. Power bars are terribly expensive for what they are. They are nothing more than glorified candy bars. Terrible for those who have sugar control problems.
Have a friend who did a week challenge with these. Trying to eat just these. Very hard. Additionally there is no fiber. So you dont go #2. These are not meal replacement but more like meal supplements. Emergency only. Probably would be able to make it a week with these. He started feeling dizzy by weeks end.
They're so small. How do you not stay hungry with these?
@zippy the pinhead: Chill. Deals.woot is not just for sales. I like when people post unusual items that I might not otherwise see (including tanks, cruise ships, space shuttles, hovercrafts, and missile silos!) The only time I get upset is when it is something that anyone can see anywhere or buy at a local store for the same price or less.

@aeson25: If you are getting the nutrients you need from what you eat, you will not feel hungry. Protein has the biggest influence on how quickly you get hungry after eating a meal. If you look around online to other sites with reviews and forums on the product, many are commenting on how surprised they are at how well this does suppress hunger.
