"Dave" will air RDX in Sept. They just finished shooting the last stuff for RDX on Friday as per Robet L, and DJJ via Twitter. They report it is classic dwarf in every sense.

I'm not into sci-fi, but this hands down one of my favorite shows of all time period.

If I didn't already own the collection, I'd hop on this in a heartbeat.

@caffeine_dude: LMAO. We can go over and watch it at Sheldon's? (Just don't sit in his spot!)

Wish I'd thought to post this deal....which is a really good one. After the TBBT episode, I downloaded the 1st 2 episodes of Red Dwarf to check it out (had never seen it, but if Sheldon and Leonard like it.....), and then added this exact collection to my Amazon cart @ $101.xx. Didn't buy it right then, though, as I was pondering. Lots of $ for 8 seasons, I thought. But when I added something else to my Amazon cart yesterday, I was surprised to see the massive price drop to $61.57.

Better get it quick before it inches its way back up again!

One of my favorite shows ever. The audiobooks are great, and their TV specials are awesome. (Cooking with Ainsley!!!)

But it's a pity that the most recent miniseries was utter crap. I'm not trying to stir up (profanity) here, but the 4 part back to earth miniseries was extremely painful to watch. It was almost on par with some of the other lousy sitcoms that pollute the airwaves. Big Bang, I'm looking at you.

I sincerely hope they pull it out of the crapper.

Please don't misunderstand me. It's not that I'm made that they tried to refresh the show. I like the new Dr Who episodes almost as much as the old. It's just that the new miniseries was incredibly bad.

Rimmer: "Red alert"
Kryton: "Are you sure, sir? I mean, id does mean changing the bulb..."

I bought most of them on vhs (had to special order them) at $25 each back in the day so I could get them in original version before the remasters which came out on DVD (I also have most on DVD remastered), but I'm still tempted.

FWIW, all true Dwarfers should be interested in Robert L's book, "man in the rubber mask" which documents the show and his life. HE's updating it to reflect the changes since '92 (failed movie, BTE, RDX..)
