How is this a deal? The Brand new version from Amazon is $69. OR for that same $69 I can get a refurbished last generation model? Seriously?

@matkyne: because the one on amazon isn't a touch. This is the model they no longer sell that was replaced with the paperwhite. This is just as good as the paperwhite, but without a glowing screen. So unless you think a glowing screen is worth $50, this is a great deal for someone looking to get a starter kindle that doesn't have obnoxious buttons on either side.

The "Touch" is an excellent e-reader. I've always been a "book" reader, but I've now owned owned a Touch for over a yearand find myself using it more and more.
