SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 1.0" Black 4GB MP3 Player for $20.99 + free shipping
Back in stock. Listed at $29.99, but use code EMCXWVR64 to save $9.00 making it just $20.99.
Code valid through 1/31/13.
Limit 5 per customer.
Code also works on other 4GB clip+ and clip zip colors like the blue, white, grey, purple, and red, but they are priced higher than the black one.
Getting an error message saying Newegg is having server problems...a n y w a y let me be first to say this is a great player at a very good price.Tempted to get another(have three) because at some point the battery will die on the ones I have
That went quick!
Seems the black for 20.99 is sold out at the moment.
The red one is not as inexpensive, but still a good deal at $27.99 with the code.
How about a thumbs up if you remember back when you could get a refurbished Sansa off of Woot directly. I remember picking up a couple of Fuze's, a bunch of Clip's, and a Sansa View.
I'm all for sansa products, including this one, but the clip itself is TERRIBLE. Will not stay clipped onto your shirt during a workout. Other have mentioned the clip itself breaking... presumably while being clipped onto shorts/sweats.
That said, this is awesome. I use my clip whenever I'm travelling as it is small and very portable. The interface is simple and intuitive.
I love these things. I've probably purchased one a year in the past 5 years - with two still functioning. Yeah - they might not last forever, but you can wear it on a run and not freak out when it starts raining because - for $20 - you can buy 5 for the price of one iWhatever. Just take out the expandable memory and pop it into a new one. I saw somebody complaining about the clip?? I've never had a problem, but I know how clips work so I guess I must just be using it right.
Has anyone bought one at $20.99 today?
Looks like it's gone, this link is broken and when I search for the Sansa Clip I'm only seeing deals for 30% off $39.99 = $27.99
Just a note: the Rockbox alternative firmware works on these things, and also on the Clip Zip. I'm not sure it's really necessary, but it's good to know it's an option.
I bought one for my wife when they first came out; the battery life is not at all like what they advertise. Like 7 hours for constant run-time. We've been through 2 of them and they both shut off around 40% when you listen all day.
Code did not work for the Indigo 4G clip, (priced same as the black).
These refurbished sansas often have problems. They can last a year or a month before something goes wrong. I've had 3 of them so far (and one new one.) The new one is less than twice the price and if it fails, they will send you a new one. Plus, they last longer in the first place, so it ends up cheaper to buy new.
