Worked for me! What good luck that I was looking to buy one of these today! Thanks for the tip!

Worked for me as well. Thanks!

Thank you! Worked perfectly. In case anyone is wondering, you don't enter the code until the last step (at least that's how it worked with paypal).

Does anybody have experience with Rakuten? I googled and the only thing I could find review-wise was a report of widespread credit card fraud linked to the site from June.

Perfect! Like the other comment, you put the code in at the very last screen before confirmation.

slightly more with added tax... boo

@ki4rxm: They are the old buy.com - never had any issue with them!

Just worked for me. In for three, the maximum allowed. Best deal on these I've seen in a while. A couple years ago I found these for $29.99, got three then too, but haven't seen that deal ever happen again, must have been a fluke. Good Christmas present here.

Think it worked, but I still haven't gotten a confirmation email. Fingers crossed.

@ki4rxm: As @jupiterpig said they used to be buy.com and are a fine reseller. I've never had issues with them and wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to them.

This deal is around all of the time. I know it is a great deal, but if you don't need it check back and it will pop up. I buy them at $35 and you can have a few years put on your account (I think the max is 3 years). Just the same you can buy it and save it. If you are on the fence, get it to feel warm and fuzzy, if you are tight for cash and your subscription doesn't run out for a few months, check back and they will have it again.

@dgoldberg: Same here, waiting for confirmation email << >>

Still works. Was waiting to find it for 35$ or cheaper for awhile.

Thanks.

cant add this item to your cart......OOS

@jupiterpig: Though I'll never understand why they ditched the reasonably well-respected buy.com brand and went with an asian-sounding name as their primary name. Not exactly something that is automatically trusted in the US.

@omnichad: Agreed. Why go from something simple to something that sounds like a spam site - I would be interested to see how much their business initially declined once they stopped marketing as buy.com

vote-for1vote-against

@omnichad: Mostly because Rakuten was founded the same year as buy.com, and purchased buy.com in 2010. Rakuten also runs "Rakuten Ichiban", which is one of Japan's largest online shopping sites.

It is sold out but it says "check back soon". Keep my fingers crossed!

@taryble: That's not a good reason to merge the names. Nabisco is now owned by Mondelēz International, but you don't see the Mondelēz logo on a bag of Oreos. Name recognition is important. Even if the name is Japanese, something vaguely asian-sounding is going to remind consumers of things like all the 3rd-rate eBay sellers from China.

Aaaannnnddddd it's gone...

@locked31: You ever get yours? I never did get a confirmation email, so I'm guessing I'm out of luck.

vote-for1vote-against

AW COME ON, I missed it again!?

vote-for1vote-against

I got a confirmation email. Check your spam.

Also check your account on the site.
