No matter if you like the movie or not, this is an excellent blu-ray. It has awesome video and incredible auido. The soundtrack alone is worth the price. The video goes between standard 35mm with the letterbox black bars to 70mm IMAX shots which fill up the whole screen and are beautiful. Plus, I actually enjoyed the movie. So that helps. Great price, though.

Be careful, the link took me to a $34.99 version and I found the $9.99 by "Amazon" off to the right.

@kbsig106: could you share that link? I can't find it.

I cannot speak for the quality for the quality of the transfer, but I saw the film at the theaters and I found it to be highly derivative of the original and not particularly enjoyable.

So I'll give this one a pass.

I wouldn't mind the original on Blu-Ray, though.

@thejournalizer: clinked on the main link, twice and it took me to a thrid party Amazon seller. Stange if the link took you to the $9.99 version.

Either way, the deal is there.

@zphyrsvn: I'm old enough to have seen the original when it first showed in the theaters. It was at a time when computers were still very new and mysterious. TRON wasn't a great film, but it was incredibly interesting and forward looking and as about as different as anything we had ever seen.

The new film pretty much rehashes the old one and tends to look backward rather than forward. It doesn't break new ground in any way and doesn't seem to have anything interesting or new to say. Plus, the title character, TRON, hardly makes an appearance in LEGACY.
