Yay cheap Chinese crap!

In all seriously, Meritline is legitimate, but their shipping takes forever and the quality often leaves much to be desired (I would be hesitant to buy anything with complex electronics from them).

That being said I've gotten some good deals from them in the past. Just don't order with high expectations.

@novastarj: Their shipping is slow, but only for the items that come from their non-US warehouse. They ship items both out of the United States and out of China - The orders from the U.S. arrive within the week where the ones from China sometimes take a few weeks to get to you.

Almost all of their electronics ship from the U.S. though, like the Blu-Ray burner that's on sale for $116.99 today (http://www.meritline.com/lite-on-black-12x-sata-blu-ray-dvd-burner---p-46001.aspx) with coupon code MLC186475071916NL1 is from the U.S. warehouse - By the way, I think this is the best deal on the sale, and it's limited to 50 orders.. The rest isn't anything special beyond their normal daily deal special pricing.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller for $6.99 ... until I looked closer and realized that it was a generic. No "Wii" logo. Buyer beware.

They are the only place where I have ordered recordable media for years. I haven't ordered anything else, but have several thousand dvds and cds thanks to them.

I have been nothing but happy with Meritline. I don't expect their $2 bluetooth adapter is the best of the best, but their products have exceeded my expectations constantly.

The one problem with this, they are all coupon codes, and you can only use 1 coupon per order. So if you want the deal on 3 different items, you have to place 3 different orders. Kind of annoying

@tbaker3rd: Probably a good thing, actually... considering they have free shipping.

Meritline has a habit of waiting till all the items in an order are ready before shipping it out. Occasionally you'll get a troublesome item that can take awhile. If you have them all in separate orders you can avoid this.

@gwintner: What did you expect for 6.99? I just so happen to have that controller and it is perfect.

@limehaven: Some of the shipping is slow. I ordered an Otterbox iPhone case for my 3GS, it arrived in about 10 days. Most of the stuff takes weeks, though. Don't know why this didn't.

Their $10 Airlink 802.11n adapter is awesome. I paid $17 for it, but my signal is at 100% all the time -- I've never had problems with it. Simple to install too.

Some products on meritline are crap, but that's what user reviews are for.

@wilfbrim: The Otterbox cases ship from their U.S. warehouse - Ones that aren't imported usually take about a week to arrive whereas the stuff from China usually takes 3 weeks. Most of their items are from China though - You just have to look at the right side of the page above the Facebook icon and 'Related Items' section to see where it ships from and how long it should take.

Any tech company that also sells "Rubber Duckie Ducky Bath Swimming Duck" is ok in my book.

I'm learning not to buy anything from them unless it's on sale or a coupon, I've ordered a couple of items that admittedly were OK for the price, just to find them going for half shortly afterwards. I've had 5 or 6 orders arrive in the last week or two, most take about 2-3 weeks to arrive. I got mostly cables - SATA, HDMI, 3.5mm jack, they're all acceptable quality but for little more than the cost of the postage you can't expect more.
