Not small shears at 8" long!

Buying two is virtually the same shipping (.50 cents extra)as one.

@nascaraddict: 8" is normal for kitchen shears. They can be used to cut through the rib bones on chickens to begin the process of preparing chickens for cooking. They are useful for any cutting chore in the kitchen. The advantage of these shears is that they can be separated for washing. Thanks for the info about shipping for multiple purchases.

It's obvious that these can be used in the kitchen, as they are "KITCHEN SHEARS"!
Just an FYI, there are many sizes of shears ranging from small to large, as well as poultry shears and fish shears. Normal is relative.

Obama is already treating us like children, and I don't need you doing it as well!

If you look around, you can find these NIB on eBay for $15 shipped. I have a pair that came with my block of knives. Pretty good shears.

Hey guys, let's keep the political feuding restricted to other forums, OK? @nascaraddict has a point; 8" isn't exactly what one might expect when the product is described as "small". That said, the Obama reference was unnecessary and shouldn't have been mentioned, unless the goal was to try to stir up controversy. In any case, keep the focus on the deals. There are plenty of other places for political discussions if that's the type of conversation you want to have.
