Amazon is offering a $5 Amazon video credit when you register a Roku device with Amazon Video. (New customers only)
1. Register a Roku streaming player with Amazon Instant Video for the first time between December 3, 2012 and January 7, 2013. Only first time registrations are eligible - customers who register a Roku steaming player that was previously registered are ineligible for this promotion. Limit one per customer.
2. Your credit in the amount of $5 will be automatically applied to your account after successful registration and will be applied to your purchase or rental of eligible movies or TV episodes. This credit will expire on March 31, 2013.
Nice, I knew there was a reason I waited to register my Roku...oh wait that was just laziness :)
How timely. Just got the Roku 2 days ago and not registered yet.
@inspectrex: No I think it is a sign of intelligence and great forethought. I just registered:)
How untimely ... I just got my Roku 2 days ago and DID register it. :(
As far as Roku goes, I'm a little underwhelmed.
I don't think it's the Roku's fault — it's a good little device — I just realize how much crap I don't care about after I ditched cable.
Hopefully the $50 Roku deal I just got the other day from 1daysale website will arrive before this deal expires.
Nice, just checked amazon and apparently I never registered my roku with them. I got it like 2 years ago too. Its hooked to the small tv though and I dont have prime so never needed to. We rent from amazon using the ps3 on the main tv for movies.
Come on DirecTV, support HBOGo on Roku!
