Looks pretty cool actually. Can anyone vouch for seller or product?

The 27-piece set goes on sale about every month for around $0.55 including shipping. The 164-piece set goes on sale less often, but I bought it two months ago for $3.99. Nice set, but I've only ever gotten black pieces. Would be nice to have some white.

My son loves these. His classmates are envious, because no one else knows where to get them.

I've purchased $100s of dollars worth of stuff from Meritline. Sometimes you get crappy stuff that's not worth returning, but most of the time it's good. Shipping on most products is two-three weeks because they send it from China.

@pdsaylors: Shipping can take up to 2 weeks depending on where they ship it from. But I've bought a lot of things from them and never had any problems.

I own a bunch of these...

I wrapped one up as an x-mas gift for some present game we play...a kid (or his dad - can't remember) traded a huge tool set for this robot toy lol - ditto on what @kovo said, kids do love 'em. And immature guys (like me :D).

Also, probably the BEST thing about this...

The packaging says BOWEl!

heh..and in HUGE letters on the front.

(I think it's probably actually supposed to be "bowei," but it totally says "BOWEL."

I got this last time it was on sale
The instructions are a little vague, and some of the joints are loose

It was worth the 3 or so bucks I paid at least, even if it is in a box somewhere right now

In for 5... I like lego's and robots, can you blame me?

@kovo
They sell them color coded in seperate lots, I made sure I got a white and black one along with the 164 piece set.

A toy that comes from China? ...must have if you are lead deficient!

vote-for1vote-against

@anangphatak: The lead mines over there are CRAZY BUSY. Think of all the toys they have to inject with lead before shipping to the U.S. of A.!

Meritline is actually amazing/amusing. When I can get cables/adapters...other random STUFF for less than the cost of shipping from Amazon, I'm in. My Macbook Pro mini-display port adapter was less than Apple charges for handling/shipping.
I wouldn't buy a pacemaker from them, but a usb drive shaped like a panda? Sign me up!

For example, I recently purchased these for a project at work requiring dvd backups:
http://www.meritline.com/4-disc-white-cd-dvd-sleeve-with-3-binder-holes---p-20512.aspx
and paid $5.29 for a 25 pack with free shipping.
Similar product from Office Depot:
http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/133835/Fellowes-Loose-Leaf-Binder-Sheets-For/
$14.99 for a 10 pack, shipping NOT included...I would need 3 @ $14.99 to get enough, PLUS pay shipping

Nabbed one of the white packs and in for the deal posted. Here is to too much idle time!

@kovo: I believe its pronounced U S AND A

@bobengle3: I think he's making a Borat reference. (Borat is a lame comedy routine that somehow remained popular for a few years.)
