These things are amazing.. They're INCREDIBLY sturdy. They have a a built in kick-stand too.. it also comes with a bunch of different custom-sized plates for each model.

But best of all.. THE POWERED SPEAKER IS FREAKIN' AMAZING.

I paid $4.99 for mine, so I am slightly bitter about that though.

Amazon link does not mention 4s and the pic looks like the newer iphone might not fit without a bit of dremel work. But I just wanted a cheap speaker to plug into since I keep my 4s in a commuter case anyway. Pretty good deal if you get two or more me thinks.

Isn't the 4s identical to the 4, as far as dimensions and data jack orientation are concerned? I would guess the product doesn't mention the 4s because it was released pre-4s. This is all speculation and makes no claims of certainty.

Still at war with myself over whether I can justify 9 dollars to just add to the temptation to throw my iphone :-/ If only I had one of those free shipping coups from before now, because I'd totally pay 4 dollars to make myself throw my absurdly expensive toy.

Got one during last woot! off (only cuz I hit the wrong button), now back for 3 more. Great protection for letting kids play with your iDevice. Also makes driving games more fun, as it can act as a steering wheel.

I bought 2 in a previous woot, for my 7 & 9 year old boys. I bought it for the protection factor and cool gaming concept. I have to admit I was blown away by the sound quality. I expected it to sound like an internal PC speaker in a coffee can. It actually sounds like a low-end desktop speaker system... and I mean that as a compliment! Best of all... both boys are still on the same set of batteries since Christmas! These things get used at least a couple hours every other day.

Was sold on one for me but then I realized my son would be able to use one with his new ipod touch. Then I realized if my son would have one then my daughter would want one. In for three now.(Good thing I only have 2 kids and Woot offers sets of 3!) We have no need for one as a steering wheel but I was sold as soon as the stand was mentioned. Thanks Wooters!

Got three of these before Christmas for the hubs and my two girls. Most of the time they don't even pop their devices into it, they just plug it up and sit it next to it. Love the kickstand too.

Really a great deal to buy all three. Keep for different rooms, or give as gifts. This would also be great for parents with little ones that like to play with phones. The nerf protection will give you some peace of mind as they hold your phone and toddle all around.

The speaker is made by iHome. You know youll get a great quality speaker and with nerf protection so you know itll be durable.

Ill be using mine strickly as a speaker with the stand but if youre looking for a driving game app give Real Driving a try. You can download the Real Driving GTI version for free and if you love it then you can pay for the various versions of the paid game.

I have an iPhone 4 and 4s. They r the same size. The speaker port is in the same location. The only difference is the mite button is 1/8 centimeter lower on the 4s.

Saw nothing but good reveiws. I got sucked into two, one for me obviously, and one for my brother and his wife who will use it for my 1 year old niece who loves to play with their iphones. I only got one because for them to see if they like it and i'll get another if they do.

Bought two a couple of months ago for my teenage sons. The speaker really IS amazing, great for travel - who would've thought? One thing, though: unless you're using a very thin case you'll have to remove it each time you pop in your phone, which is why my son doesn't use his. Otterboxes are a PITA to takeoff.

Totally worth the price. Doesn't fit Zune and is not waterproof, btw.

Great little doc. The form fit insert for iPods keeps your precious Apple gadget safe and with the insert pulled out, it holds a lot. Sound is good, it is a great conversation piece and it's battery life is strong. I ordered 3 in the woot off and gave them away as stocking stuffers/office gifts. Winners, every one.

The plug in goes in your headphone jack so if you wanted to use it just as a speaker and didnt care if your phone/device fits you could still use it. I am PO'd too i paid $5

one downfall is for the people who have large cases... it will be a pain to take it out of the case and back in the case.(especially i have to take out 4 screws to undo mine ) i guess i will have to work something out

@sbee619: The batteries only last 3.5 hrs, so you can't get much sleep if you want the speakers to work when your alarm goes off.
