Bodum 8 cup French Press Coffee Maker for $19.74 + free shipping
Great French press that makes great coffee. Step away from the drip world and you'll be surprised at the difference.
Bought one of these last month, use it everyday since I got it!

$19.99 is the normal price, around $17 is the low end.
Got this as a gift.
"Coffee is measured in 4 ounces. cups"
Little small for me :(
I bought this exact model at Target last week (because some scumbag stole my previous french press - grrrrrr.....). I'm quite happy with it. Locally, with tax, it was $21.09, so not much of a deal. However, since it's such a nice little unit, I'd recommend you do something nice for yourself and buy one.
An inexpensive ceramic burr grinder would be a welcome companion.
It's also nice that it comes in the frustration-free packaging, but really not a deal.
I've been using the single-cup version of this for about a year and a half, still working great. I do NOT take good care of it, always leave the grounds there til the next day... I bought a second one for work.
Little tip, for some reason it doesn't seem to like dish washing soap, so I never actually wash it, just rinse it well. After the first Palmolive, the metal mesh's edges, which are supposed to stay curved upward, began to catch on the glass on the up-pull, causing the mesh to turn inside-out. I think dishwashing soap eats away at the glass just enough to make it less smooth (on a microscopic level).
I tossed my Bodum and Bonjour glass presses and a lexan camping press after I purchased this: www.aeropress.com
No more grounds in the coffee, unbreakable and travels everywhere I do.
$12.99 at IKEA, as long as you don't mine the "import". Even with sales tax it's less money. Oh, and did I mention it's the "3 real cup" size?
@jordan711: Where did you see the bit about the cups being 4 ounces?
I rc'd one of these presses as a gift, and was ticked to find out it wasn't really 8 cups. It's 4 cups. I measured twice to be sure. I went to the store to complain, and learned similar presses also used the 4 oz. cup standard. WTH? How are they getting away with lying to everyone? What's to stop this from spreading to other products? Imagine going to the gas station and paying twice what you expect for a fill up. You complain, and are then directed to small print somewhere on the pump: "Gasoline is measured using 64 fluid ounces per gallon."
What would be the difference? The coffee makers measurements are NOT standard, because they are not used by anyone else. 8 fl. oz. is the standard cup equivalent in the U.S. I call BS and false advertising.
@bacalum: Amazon - it's under the product features. I completely agree with ya
