@belyndag: Oh my. One of my Top 10 Hottest Movie Scenes! He was something, wasn't he? And she was the perfect match in that movie.

@magic cave: Absolutely! I told myself to stop buying graphic t-shirts. My closet is overflowing. Then I saw this one and had an immediate Patrick Swayze rush. Well, some people might call it a hot flash, but I'm sticking to my Patrick Swayze theory.

@belyndag: Segue..... Film: Coming Home. Jon Voight, paraplegic Nam vet in hospital; Jane Fonda, military wife, hospital volunteer learning war ain't as jingoistically simple as she thought. They''ve had dinner... he wheels into the bathroom, comes out wearing a towel across his lap, transfers himself to the bed. Jane, softly, "what would you like?" Jon, "Everything."

@magic cave: Dang! Now I have to go find that movie on DVD or something!

@belyndag: If you're a bleeding heart liberal (as I am) or even just open to watching a sort of tear-jerker sort-of-anti-war movie, it's worth seeing. It was released in 1978. In 1979 both Voight and Fonda won Oscars, the Golden Globe awards, and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor and Actress; Voight also won Best Actor at Cannes that year. Bruce Dern, who played Fonda's husband, was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor, and they and film received numerous other nominations as well. It's one of my favorite movies, and near the top of my personal of "hot scenes."

(And a bit of trivia that makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit: Sylvester Stallone, Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino declined the role that went to Jon Voight.)

@magic cave: I am, indeed, a bleeding heart liberal. Tough to be one in such a red state. I've seen Coming Home, but it's been many, many years since then. I remember most of that scene, though. Very hot!

Great trivia! Unfortunately I now have a mental picture of Stallone in that role. Urgh! Now I need a good deal on brain bleach!

Now, to match you trivia-for-trivia, did you know that Micky Dolenz almost got the role of Fonzie?
