Free Saffron +1 additional Spice Sample Free with every order
NOTE: This is not a duplicate post. The previous deal was set to expire today at 1PM and that's what I wrote in the previous thread. I wanted to post a new thread to let everyone know that the offer has been extended through Wed, 3/17 at 1PM EST.
The world's most expensive spice, saffron, is now being given away with every order at myspicesage.com.
Yes, this requires you to buy something else, but their prices and quality are very good. As I said, saffron has long been the most expensive spice in the world, but you're getting it free.
I just ordered 4 spices/blends (including free samples), the total came to $11 shipped. They usually sell an gram of saffron for $11, so it was like getting 3 item & shipping free.
I've personally ordered from this company more than once and have been very happy with everything I've gotten from them.
FYI: Free shipping is available on orders totaling $40 or more.
Limit one offer per customer. Expires Wednesday 3/17 at 1 pm EST.
I just bought some garlic and onion powder and got 1 gram free saffron. Sounds good. with $4 shipping that means I got everything for around 2 dollars or so be because saffron is about $9 to $12 for a gram Thanks!
I think im gona give this a try.
Nice deal.
Man they have a great price on Vanilla beans thanks for the deal!

I bought some stuff from there yesterday and I hope all is god. I got the vanilla beans too so I cant wait!
Just wanted to add my quick vote for this deal. Like @anotherhiggins, I've bought from here (multiples of curries, for one), and have been very happy with them. Saffron... Now I'm trying to decide what it is that I need, so that I can take advantage of this. I just used up the saffron that I'd purchased from last time.
Outstanding deal - with the other free sample, valued at 3.25 in this case (Paris herbs), and a cup of cinnamon, this came to 9.00 shipped! Thanks so much for posting this deal.
Super deal! Ordered mine. =]
Just for clarification, it is a gram of saffron, not an ounce. An ounce of saffron sells for like $75. But a gram should be enough to make several recipes, and it is a valuable free gift with purchase. I am glad you posted this, I had made a shopping list then got busy at work and missed the previous sale. Now I have time to order on Monday, since I left the shopping list at the office. Their prices are reasonable enough that I want to try some exotic stuff I've never used before.
Link appears to be dead.
@bmaass24: No, it's not either dead. It's just fine. I just looked.
They're extremely fast with shipping. I received my order next day. The 1g of saffron is about $7, plus the additional 1oz of your choice? Pretty awesome deal.
No more ordering spices from the grocery store for me.
Looks like a great site, but they can't ship to me. :o(
I've never tried Saffron. I ordered some cake spice, spice cake is my favorite, and some cinnamon, the real Asian stuff. I'm going to be making some spice cakes and cinnamon chicken for sure! I can't wait to see what the Saffron is like.
Ordered some garlic powder I needed anyways, and some vanilla beans. Going to make some vanilla sugar and creme brulee. Woot, indeed.
The usually sell on GRAM of saffron for $11.
On ounce for $11 and I would have already purchased it ALL.
Please to a better job of getting your facts right.
@moondrake: D'oh! I've asked that the OP be corrected to read "gram" instead of "ounce".
Thanks for catching that! +1
@jschisser: Thank you, thank you, a thousand times thank you. I clearly made a mistake in my post and I am extremely grateful that you were so kind as to point out my ineptitude.
And Thank you for assuming that I actually believed that an ounce of saffron sold for $11. You could have assumed that it was a simple mistake, but no, not you. Your contemptuous post makes it clear that you think I am a facile simpleton who knows nothing about the deal I'm posting. So thank you also for not looking at my previous thread about this in which I somehow managed to type "gram".
Verily, it is users like you - who have never posted, or voted for, or commented on (until now) a single deal - that keep this site going.
To return the favor, I'll offer you a bit of advice: see @moondrake's post for tips on posting. Indeed, @moondrake doesn't seem like an oafish clod at all.
@anotherhiggins: Thanks for posting the deal. Once gram, or one ounce, it doesn't matter to me, I needed spices and hadn't seen this site before. The fact that I get some free saffron to play with is even better. You sir, are a gentleman, and a scholar.
til next time.
Looks like a great deal. Saffron is extremely expensive. Good stuff for making Paella.
@anotherhiggins: I so wish I could vote that last comment of yours up about twenty times. Beautiful compliment/flames, all at the same time. My compliments to you sir.
@shrdlu: That's high praise indeed, particularly coming from you.
I placed an order here for $40 on March 10, and I never got a confirmation email or anything. I just called them and they said that my order is still being processed.
Be careful
I took advantage of this offer and ordered enough spices to get free shipping. Got the free saffron and free sample spice - Aleppo crushed pepper. They even upsized the Aleppo from the 1 oz sample to a full shaker. It shipped and arrived quickly, and the spices are great quality at great prices. I highly recommend this company.
With the new spices, I tried a new spice rub combination on Porterhouse steaks in place of the usual kosher salt, cracked black pepper and double cut crushed red pepper. It's Hawaiian Alaea sea salt, cracked Grains of Paradise and crushed Aleppo pepper. It got rave reviews from my guests.
I'm definitely going to be experimenting with more exotic spices from now on.
@dyanne2: I've ordered from them THREE times, and been happy each and every time. I think that something just went wrong with your order. The thing I like most about their spices is that, unlike some other vendors, each and every thing that's in the package is listed. Oh, and there's no added salt, when it's a blend of spices. I can add my own salt, thanks.
Madragas Curry. I love curries. Mmmmmmmmm
@dyanne2: I second @shrdlu's comments. I've ordered from them before and I will again.
This order arrived quickly and everything was correct. I'm sorry if things got screwy with your order, but that certainly seems to be the exception rather than the rule. And based on what I've seen from them so far, I'm sure they'll get your order out ASAP.
