FYI I just called Verizon with an unrelated question, and asked if my iPhone is a 4G phone, and was told that no iPhone through Verizon is 4G, only 3G, so Verizon iPhone users won't be able to get this plan. Bummer ):

@atravis6: There is no such thing as a 4G iPhone (yet).

@southcutt: iPhone is very much a 3g phone. despite the "4" in the name. Supposedly the 5 will be (for those on the bandwagon). Then again they said that about the 4 and the 4S.

@southcutt: I never said that there was such a thing. I'm just saying, for anyone like me who has an iPhone and uses Verizon, if they were not sure if they had 4G service or not, that they don't, so don't bother asking about the upgrade.

Don't worry, in 6 months apple will release another phone with 1 or 2 features they should've already put on the last one.

@andrasko15: …My point exactly.

@atravis6: I'm confused. If you know there's no such thing as a 4G iPhone, why would you think you might have 4G service on your iPhone?

It doesn't matter who your carrier is: If you're using an iPhone, it isn't 4G. Period.
