Not that great of a deal. I bought this drill for $60 right after Christmas. It came with the charger and Lithium Ion battery, but no bag. That bag isn't worth $40.
Sears/Craftsman has these on sale for around $60 about 4 times a year.
You can sometimes catch the C3 drill with NiCd battery for $40.

Not these ones they don't. Sears just updated their C3 line, and this is the newest version of the C3 drill. It has a new battery with a higher power draw so it has more power. I think it has 465 in lbs of torque vs the normal 1/2 inch lithium which has 340 in lbs. Normal price on this is $140, so this is a great deal. The battery on this also works with all the other C3 tools, but minus the extra power output.

@kennyboy020: Thanks for the clarification. Companies usually add some kind of distinguisher when making that kind of upgrade to a line. Like call it the C3x or something.
