So does the grease coming OUT of the food get wicked away or just drip down onto the heating element in your oven?

I haven't used them but common sense dictates you're probably going to want to throw another cookie sheet underneath it if you're cooking something greasy.

the video says "with nothing underneath" the idea is to have 360 degree air flow, so putting it on a cookie sheet would just make these a cooking rack. Guess they think foods don't drip or make messes at all.

We tested these and they work great!

As for the issue with dripping, we suggest using a reusable oven liner at the very bottom of your oven, underneath the elements. They sell them in stores for $5-6, or you can add one to your order for $2.99 with no additional shipping during checkout.

@wwmyers: this is what I was wondering. I guess it is showing food that typically wouldn't drip: coconut shrimp, potatoes, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, pizza... so you wouldn't use this for a chicken breast, but to cook those frozen fries and fish sticks or the frozen pizza. My wife has been making fresh homemade fries latey, I bet this would be nice for that.

@13deals: What kind of foods did you cook with it?

@sumduud: We tried several types of french fries and some chicken strips. Both were most certainly crispier with the crispy cookers. I would suggest decreasing cooking time by a minute or so because they cook quicker with this.

Hope this helps!

@onomea: Huh? Did I miss something posted about these cooking sheets? I can't make any sense out of your comment.

Can these be cut in half to fit a toaster oven? I know the food prepared on these is great, crispy and delicious. But these are too large.

I have these. Purchased from another vendor about 6 months ago. They do work great. Pizza, french fries, etc. Reduce cooking time by a few minutes with these to avoid burning. They are dishwasher safe. If you plan to cook something that drips, place a cookie sheet on the lower rack below this to catch drips. I have no idea if you can cut them smaller or not. I would think that you could, but the edges would not be bound and they would be harder to lift with food on them. Hope this helps.

@bkb123: Thanks for the experienced review. I posted this, but hadn't pulled the trigger yet. We have learned that oven baked items we used to fry are crispier if we bake them on crumpled foil so they have more surface exposed to air, but this looks a LOT easier and MUCH better. Time to buy!
