I'm not very well educated on the requirements of XBOX, but I think my gamers would be interested.

Question: (Please contain yourselves:) Is ownership of this particular game required in order to get the mask avatar?

@2inamillion: I don't think Avatar items are dependent upon owning a particular game. Can't tell for sure because the Xbox website is blocked from my work PC.

If it won't work on the xbox.com website for some reason, just look it up yourself on your Xbox. Yeah, the interface is terrible, but Plants Vs. Zombies is new enough that it hasn't been pushed off the New Releases tab under Arcade Games, and from there you can scroll to the game extras and download the mask.

This one id dead, but you can get a pair of 2011 glasses for your Avatar today. XBox is doing a countdown to 2011 with deals everyday. They have a bunch of Red Dead DC cheap today.
