Track Woot Version 2.0 Reckoning, Entire List Of Deals
Check out the BEST Woot Tracking App out there!
Tired of Woot Apps that just show you those 6 main sites? No Deals? No Shirt.Woot Reckoning? We are too!
It's not perfect yet but we wanted to get something to the Wooters that let them do EVERYTHING they usually do on Woot! Grab it now for free! We set it as FREE until sometime in April (we're not sure when, we were drinking). We're not concerned about making money, we're concerned about getting the best deal! :)
Also, previous Track Woot users! Until we release 2.0.1 (a week) PLEASE remove your previous TrackWoot before installing this, there's a strange issue that's causing crashes. If you experience any crashes while using it let us know in Settings -> Feedback (leave an email) and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!
:( Dear Android users. We're so so sorry. Give us a month! In the mean time, check this out http://trackwoot.com/android-app/
Oh and non-mobiles, http://trackwoot.com/ is a tracker!
Also. Android users: Please email us at support@trackwoot.com with a subject of "Android App" we're generating a list (1,000+ strong now) of people who CAN'T WAIT for the Track Woot Android app! :D :D
@njkrut: If I send you my email, will you SPAM, sell or otherwise make me regret it?
@kmeltzer: We only want emails to help. The info gets sent to me directly and we'll never share it. No schemes here, just want to make the best Woot App! :)
@njkrut: Sent! Android peez.
How about a Windowsphone app?
what is a Woot Tracking App and what does it do?
It's great...except for about 11:10 last night, while quietly watching TV with my wife, the sudden crowing of a rooster coming from my iPhone interrupted the moment as the otherwise far-improved program alerted me of the time left until some woot would be over. I wasn't aware the download would come programmed to start with audio push notifications.
I'm glad the notifications can be turned off!
@stumpy91: I've actually been considering that. It's a pretty cool development environment. It's above Blackberry but below Android (sorry Blackberry users :( )
@dljdto: it gives ur phoen da powaz of da intanet! (it sends you push notifications on every new item (unless you want them off, then you can have them off!).
@umpopa: Ha ha ha. Sorry to interrupt! Hope it was a good item at least! Next version of Track Woot (2.1) will have some cool filters (we wanted it in this version but it was a little too complicated). You'll be able to filter notifications by price, word filters and time. That's about a month out, after the Android app! :)
Very nice start! It downloaded to my Iphone without a problem and seems to navigate pretty well. Should be a really useful App for the Woot addicted.
The download link for Android goes to the iPhone page.
I've been getting upwards of 4 notifications back to back to back on each item during the woot-off. I submitted a report via the app but don't expect miracles. Just beware that your phone may vibrate off the table during a conference call.
@dan6971: Sorry! No download yet, I'll fix that! :x Like we said, give us a month!
Any chance of a WebOS app for the Touchpad in the future?
An alternative to wootwatcher on Android would be appreciated. That one is a major battery sucker.
cool service bro
@stumpy91: Putting in my request for Windowsphone app also
At this point there are more Android users than Apple IOS users. Why not publish to Android first?
Thanks though and looking forward to the Android version. :)
Not fast enough to notify me of a Bag of Crap though. :). Should have kept the site open and not moved to another page.
The interface is VERY busy, but it 's really got a lot of functionality packed in there. You should consider shipping the app with sandpaper so that I trim my fingertips down to work the controls.
That said, I really like it and it's already replaced my former Woot! app. Thanks!
Sweet! Just installed during this woot off. Thanks for the cool app!
@kmeltzer: Learn of the power of SpamGourmet.com, and never be bothered again (no, really... I've used it for 1.2 metric buttloads of years)
@mozzerrocks: Because its easier to develop first for one hardware platform with an OS that remains fairly consistent versus several dozen platforms with various versions of Android and phone provider customizations. I own an Android and this is the main problem I have with the platform.
@dpettus: yea man, I could imagine that to be true. So many different kinds of Androids vs just an iPhone. No wonder the Android users don't always get the good stuffs.
@westco10: +1 webOS
Having sampled the selection of mobile Woot apps, I have to say that this app is not my favorite. While it offers many features and details that the others don't, its interface leaves a lot to be desired.
Wootstar is my favorite Woot-based app, and it is still available free from the iTunes store for a "limited time". It is a great-looking app that gives you all the deals and their pictures in a single, sleek page, and even tells you what the newest Moofi deal is!
Wootstar is also perfect for Wootoffs since it sends you a push notification when one begins and its interface can handle Wootoffs very well, showing the progress bar.
@pi2014: LOL you are obviously from WootStar. Honestly, I downloaded Woot Star before TrackWoot, I liked it before but it DOESN'T send any damn notifications. Also, it's ugly.
