Good deal! I think I paid $20 for the motion comic when it first came out. Great graphic novel; the movie only did it partial justice.

This motion comic is well done and is all most 6 hours long!
The animation is nice without being distracting. My only criticism is they use one narrator to do all the voices. Granted he does a great job even with the Rorschach voice. This is worth getting if you are a Watchman fan.

Does anyone know if the quality between the DVD and Blu-ray are really any different? I don't care too much about the additional features - I just don't want this to look awful on a 60" TV...

@timepieces141: If you have a DVD upconverter, go for the DVD. It won't look as good as the BluRay version, but it won't look horrible.

Animated movies/tv have an easier time being "upconverted" from the standard DVD resolution to HD much easier than live-action programs.

As for the Motion Comic, it was only okay for me. It certainly brought the comic to life, but hearing the same guy's voice for every single character was grating after a while, especially when Silk Spectre II was talking. Good deal nonetheless.

It's $5.00 now.
Maybe that's the new regular price?
