Does anyone know exactly how this works? Can I use my iPod Touch with a 3G hotspot or is any phone actually required in the store?

Is it $15 off any purchase, $15 off $15 or more, or $15 off some higher amount?

vote-for1vote-against

@omnichad: $15 free dollars, no minimum purchase. A Touch with wifi access should work, and most Home Depots now have wifi

Did it and it read that you will be mailed out a card to use and in select stores you can use your cell # and pin #. $15 free dollars!

Thanks for the free $15! By the way, it expires 11/21/12.

I use the HeyWire app on my iPad for my texting number. I enter it but never receive the confirmation code text and so cannot complete the registration. Is there something different about a HeyWire number? Any workarounds?

vote-for1vote-against

@omnichad: You can use your mobile number & pin or swipe the PayPal payment card that will be mailed to you.

Nice tip. To bad Paypal is a shady organization.

vote-for1vote-against

Are all Home Depots participating in this deal? Thanks!

vote-for1vote-against

@bronxbmbrs2k3: When you sign up, it will show the participating Home Depots near you. Both of mine are on the list.

Thanks! I've seen the paypal option before at home depot.

@vudean: I dont see anything there saying you dont need the app.
I dont have/need or even want a cell phone.
Apparently this deal is ONLY for people with cell phones.
They lured me in with the Paypal card, but that was only a picture on the page.

They kidding ? its already run out

"Sorry, we ran out of this offer faster than we thought. Stay tuned for more great offers coming soon."

link appears to be dead?

vote-for16vote-against

Deal is dead. When it hit SlickDeals, I knew it was doomed.

vote-for2vote-against

I must have gotten the last one. Thanks for the swell money!

vote-for2vote-against

@achyder: paypal is owned by ebay. ebay is shady? ok...

vote-for1vote-against

@danieleg: people without cell phones? Where are these people? I have never seen one before. Even the guy begging for change on the corner has a blackberry ;)

vote-for2vote-against

@vudean: I have been cell phone free since 2003.
I have nobody in my life that I want to spend $40 per month to hear from.
They can call me at home if they must.
I have a long leash.

vote-for1vote-against

Long live the dead deal....this must be tattle resistant.

vote-for2vote-against

@vudean: I don't have a cell phone. I've never had a cell phone. I can't justify paying that much for a cell phone when 90% of my calls at home are telemarketers.

vote-for1vote-against

@vudean: Paypal has been involved in some... incidents. Such as freezing your account (and all the money in it) for little or no reason, requiring much time (months, years) and hoop-jumping to get your own money back, if you ever do.

That's why I only use it as a credit card gateway.

Jease PayPal deals move fast. Is there a place to get these coupons without having to wait for emails.

vote-for1vote-against

^^ Using the link above I successfully got the $10 on my account. Going to Home Depot this weekend.
