I really want a "realistic" version of this, or more useful, would be a cover for actual fire hydrants to make them invisible! Because the spots in front of fire hydrants are always free!

However, my idea is more deadly in case of actual fire, best option is probably to buy a can of yellow spray paint and paint your curb by ur fav spot, it will scare off most visitors and will take the city awhile to clean up...of course thats destruction of public property. Ugh, you just cant win in Chicago.
