Or you could buy a $5 kiddie pool instead

I think this has the advantage of being a little classier, as well as 'just the right size', yaknow?

I do wonder how well this would float, if it could be used as part of a pool party. Not that I have a pool. Or throw parties. But you get the idea.

Huge vinyl tubs don't say classy no matter what the size or original intent. Might as well make a joke out of it and have a finding nemo round pool at the party.

It'd float just fine but you'd melt the ice VERY quickly unless your whole pool was made of ice water :) Also if you put too much weight in it the center would sink and the edges would stay afloat

I like the fact that it is NOT round like a kiddie pool, for $10 a rectangular holding area is a far better deal.

I found this thing so horrifying that I was moved to sign up and comment. WHAT?
The finding Nemo pool would, at least, have the "campy" aspect going for it. Uggh.

When you want to buy one, it takes you to e-bay and when you go to pay with PayPal you get "Transaction can not be completed".

What!?! You have to provide your own tables...bogus

Wait-- that comment is for another deal.

@cindyru: I agree. I'd put a plastic (disposable) tablecloth over it before adding the ice.

My family has been jury-rigging something like this for years. We have sets of two-by-fours (notched a la Lincoln Logs), heavy sheet plastic, and a staple gun. Sounds posh, right? Not so bad, though, once you fill it with food! It's a lot classier than food poisoning from spoiled potato salad, no?

If I can make the transaction happen, I'm in for two. Inflatable sounds great to me!

@matthewjfazio: ...though also true for this one, as far as I can tell.

Oh, I thought that picnic table cloth was part of the product...It's less tacky than I thought.
