Free shipping does not apply to this item at Barnes and Noble due to size/weight of item. So sayeth Barnes and Noble half-way through checkout.

And at least for me, they charge sales tax, whereas Amazon does not.

But -- Code "R7V9J9N" for 20% off with Visa card worked for me -- so I ended up getting it at B&N.com for $71.00 including tax and shipping.

From reviews on Amazon, this collection seems to be cheaply bound with glue instead of threaded into the spine like high quality hardcover books. A lot of people have complained about pages falling out. In addition, these things are massive tomes and not that easy to read casually.

One of the Amazon reviews pointed out that you could buy 8 books and get all the strips in an easier-to-read format with less fragile binding and a little bit of content not found in the "Complete" collection, for about the same price, which is what I think I'm going to do.
