Personally, I don't think the one being offered here is close enough to warrant a purchase. The trees are much different and, more importantly, the UFO looks very synthetic. In the original, the UFO looks like it could be a strange cloud formation. Not here, though.

Not the 'official' one at all - it's the official FAN CLUB issue one, and it's crap. The poster from the first 4-5 seasons was never made into a poster due to copyright limitations, because the poster was a mockup the design team made using a copyrighted photo - so they couldn't sell it.

In season 5 I believe when Mulder's office burns down, he gets a new poster that's similar, and it's the 'official' one you can get now. The only place I've seen you can get it is from vipfanclub.com... Yes, I'm an X-Files geek.
