Not a particularly good deal. Here is a mount for $25 shipped (if you have Prime) on Amazon that includes a 10' HDMI cable and level:

@sporadic: I have the one from Amazon that you posted, it is pretty much identical to this mount at Monoprice and has worked great for over two years with a 50" plasma. I didn't find much value in the extras included, mostly because I already had a level and HDMI cable, but I guess it adds a little value to the package.

they overcharge for shipping to make up for low price of the products themselves...

I have to interject... Monoprice's mounts are a TREMENDOUS VALUE! True, this basic mount may be marginal in VALUE compared to some other basic mounts, BUT, Monoprice's Swiveling/Articulating mounts are INCREDIBLE, value wise and quality wise.

I recently bought TWO of the extending/articulating mounts for FAR less than anything in any big box store. 2 mounts (one for a 32", and the other a 51" Plasma), both cost less than 1 similar style mount at a big box store. Both mounts I got which look similar to this one were very rugged in construction, heavy in gauge and came with good instructions and beefy hardware.

I think you're crazy if you pay what local stores are asking for a TV mount, "high" shipping costs or not your local store is straight up ROBBING YOU.

@sporadic: Thanks for your post, I'd rather go with the Amazon mount. It supports up to 165lbs...instead of the 125lbs that this deal offers.

@tjbender: can you recommended those, looking for similar... :)

I've had this mount for almost 5 years. First hooked to a 46" LCD and now a 52". Works great and while you might be able to find a "cheaper" mount, it would probably be just that.....cheaper.
Shipping is kind of a bummer with Monoprice so whenever I order I try and order several items to help lower the shipping cost/item. IOW adding several cables to a order will probably not increase the shipping, or only a dollar or so.

@tjbender:
Big box stores are usually not good as a price point reference, they are almost always going to be more expensive.

@superninja: Oh I totally understand :) , I'm just saying that they are not even in the same UNIVERSE of pricing. "'Worst' Buy" wanted nearly $300 for a similar style articulating mount for my 51" that I got on monoproce for $50ish, and as far as I can tell from the store display, its absolutely the same quality as the one I bought online if not better. Cheers.

@bayjacob: The mount I bought ($40) for my 51", it's so heavy duty, I have no worries at all about it.... product ID 8586: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082806&p_id=8586&seq=1&format=2

And the smaller one I bought ($30) for my 32" (THIS mount is specifically for BRICK/CONCRETE INSTALLS, I have been contracting for many years and was able to adapt it for my particular circumstances and use it in a regular wall, BUT as with anything, be warned if you install and dont know what you're doing!) http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082806&p_id=6199&seq=1&format=2
