And it has a light and sound effects! Everything a cookie jar needs.

I have one of these. The light flashes blue and makes the Tardis noise when triggered, and the inside bucket is removable for easy washing.

I have one of these too, it's so awesome. When it came to my house, the UPS man asked what it was because it was making the noise the whole way there XD

Yes an explanation would help. The inside would have to be bigger then the outside to truly be Doctor Who's Cookie jar.

"That's just my time machine."

@huachucac: Maybe it holds more cookies than you would think ;)

Claiming it's 60% off it such BS. Whenever I want to know the price that's just over what an item like this is worth I check Think Geek - they have it for $.01 more than what it is here. This isn't a deal, it's the normal price. Don't be fooled.

(I still really want one, though)

To be fair, this is just about the best price I've seen on it. Think Geek ends up being over $8 more after shipping.

That said, I have to point out that it is such an epic cookie jar. I have mine on top of my refrigerator and even after a year can't resist triggering the noise almost every time I walk by it.

I've got one. Just remember to replace the batteries, otherwise the jar starts wooooshing at the most random times.
(That 60% is dubious... ThinkGeek has it for 25.99)

@halifax: I agree that the 60% off is lame, but one cent cheaper is still cheaper... right? ;)
ThinkGeek's shipping, at least to my zip code is $13.59, making the one cent cheaper a whole lot more valuable.
