The biggest drawback is that I did not see an option for release date delivery. The free shipping is for UPS ground which is 3-7 days.

It's a solid price hopefully we can get amazon or best buy or someone to price match it. I Don't know if I'd ever spend another $25 here.

The worst is it's only good for about a month after the game comes out... what am I going to buy from them in a month? I can't even save it for future DLC!

If you're near one of the few Microsoft Stores, this offer is good for in-store as well. The MS Store has awesome deals. A little while back you got 10 bucks off of your pre-order of Gears 3, Halo Anniverary, MW3 and Battlefield each. And if you picked them all up at midnight you got an extra $125 in giftcards. Insane deals at that place.

This is the first time the halo series will be made by a company other than bungie... Microsoft owns the title now. We all know how great of games Microsoft's internal teams have made in the past. (insert dry retching cough)

Hm, I might take up this deal. The best you usually see is a 20 dollar gift card, so this might be as good as it gets. For people worried about finding something to buy, the Microsoft store does sell Xbox Live point cards.

A good deal for casual Halo fans, for sure. I (possibly unfortunately) fall into the "big fan" category, which means I'll be grabbing the Limited Edition and I HAVE to get release date delivery.

Who am I kidding? I'll reserve it at a nearby brick & mortar store so I can get it at midnight.

Currently available for me.. but with the free shipping taking at least 3 days after release, and the quickest shipping being UPS Next Day for $16.99 I'll pass.
