Don't forget DVDATWAG (only at Walgreens)

"Free shipping"? In for thre...
Oh, wait.

vote-for25vote-against

@stanleys: It's free to ship from the box to your hand.... please no "thats what she said" jokes.

vote-for6vote-against

these are all the same codes Redbox has had for a few years.

vote-for8vote-against

Can you consider it free shipping if it requires you to drive to where the box is at?

vote-for5vote-against

@kamandomoos: well the deal is for the codes, not the rentals, so they've been "shipped free" to your computer screen.

vote-for7vote-against

@kamandomoos: Most people will drive by 2-3 boxes on their way to work.

vote-for2vote-against

Do these really work? Do you have to reserve online?

vote-for6vote-against

@roch1954wall: They work in person at the machine.

vote-for4vote-against

These are the same coupons that have been around for like the past two years..

vote-for7vote-against

Good idea to do a little work and put this list together @livinonedge. Thanks!

vote-for3vote-against

Do any of these work for games?

vote-for2vote-against

Great list!
I rent a DVD from Redbox every couple of months. I've never had to pay for one yet. With this list, I should be able to continue that stretch for at least a bit longer.

vote-for2vote-against

Do these work just for one day's rental, will you get charged for additional nights?

vote-for4vote-against

@linkwin Yes but it won't allow any of them to be free. They'll just subtract the cost of the DVD rental, so you'll still have to pay something. But it's still a good deal.

vote-for2vote-against

@linkwin: I would like to know this as well. Im thinking of picking up a game for Xbox 360.

vote-for5vote-against

@solo154: They work for a one night rental but you still have to use your credit card and it will get charged for every additional night at the usual rate.

vote-for2vote-against

Do these work on Blu-Ray rentals?

vote-for6vote-against

@gbeenie: Yes, but discounted.

Discount code takes out $1.20 of the $1.50 BluRay price so you pay only 30 cents plus tax (I think there was tax)

THANK YOU FOR THE CODES BY THE WAY. I've used like half of them from back then, but I didn't know there was more!

vote-for-48vote-against

These have been ongoing forever, if you don't know this your dumb.

vote-for3vote-against

I only knew about DVDONME and Breakroom, and everyone that would get a DVD before/after me did not know about it, so that's awesome...Thanks for telling me about the extra codes!

vote-for19vote-against

@palomino0220: uninformed certainly.

If you don't know how to use contractions properly YOU'RE dumb, or just post like you are.

vote-for5vote-against

You'r gotta be kidding me! C[_]

vote-for5vote-against

Something noteworthy: you can use the same code for each credit/debit card you have! So, if you used the code and your debit card, next time use your credit card and the same code! (once you have exhausted your cards move on to your spouses')

vote-for2vote-against

@gbeenie: yes but you still need to pay 30 more cents.

vote-for5vote-against

DVDONUS did not work when I tried to use it 2 hours ago.

vote-for7vote-against

some of these codes don't work.
WALGREENS
DVDONUS
BREAKDOWN

I just tried all 3 of these codes at my Walgreens in Oregon.

vote-for3vote-against

some of these are no longer valid. these codes have been around forever.

vote-for3vote-against

Just used BREAKROOM and it worked great.

vote-for3vote-against

None of these worked for me... Just tried last night.

vote-for4vote-against

OK, dumb question. If I reserved a DVD online, which I just did, is there a way for me to enter the code once I'm standing in front of the unit? I don't think so as all you do is hit pickup and slide your card.

(Downvote me as much as you want, but I'd like to know.)

vote-for2vote-against

DVDONUS, WALGREENS, and BREAKDOWN didn't work for me at a Walgreens in Georgia.

vote-for2vote-against

@nickpost: No, the codes are only valid for at kiosk rentals. Not for online reservations.

vote-for3vote-against

I just have insideredbox.com bookmarked on my phone and pull it up whenever I happen to be by a kiosk and in the mood for a movie. I haven't paid for one yet. The codes at that site are updated constantly and show the last time they were successfully used. Any code can only be used once per credit/debit card, so use a different card and you can reuse the same code again. This may also be true if you use a different email address, but I don't recall if that worked for me or not, as I don't use Redbox that often.

vote-for2vote-against

@palomino0220: And if you don't know the difference between "your" and you're," you probably failed a grade or two in elementary.

vote-for1vote-against

I know what I'm going to be doing tonight!

vote-for1vote-against

I have used many of these codes before. They work once per credit card.

vote-for1vote-against

Yesterday (05/27/12) used BREAKROOM at non-Walgreen's Redbox; worked fine.
DVDONUS and RENTONME did NOT work. Think you can only use once p/account.
