I bought one from Woot right before Christmas. We really like it, It's a little noisy during the grind, but that makes a great alarm clock if you set it for auto-time. :)
118 up votes, 14 down votes and two unhelpful comments for a $145 coffee maker. Think I'll hang on to my $20 Proctor Silex.
Great looks and easy to use. Bought this for Christmas gift and the old coffee maker has been retired. Only downfall is the pot is difficult to pour out the last bit. No more paper filters or measuring out scoops of coffee. Good match if you have stainless applainces..
$279 new at Amazon. Reviews are mixed: 3.7 stars on 179 reviews. Mainly complaints that it is loud, and some disagreement about the quality of the coffee.
This isn't a comment about this machine, but about burr grinding: it makes a noticeable difference in the flavor of your coffee. It's worth the switch if you haven't used anything other than a blade grinder up till now.
