I guess one note: I have used Paypal in the past to purchase a game, but today my payment was rejected. Apparently Paypal considers GMG a 'gambling' website, so I had to use credit. A little frustrating but it still went through for me.

Also, The season's pass is on sale for $14.99. Use the same code GMG30-DPLIM-DN831 and get the pass for $10.50.

Didn't catch the extra off for Borderlands 2 but they did/do have the Season's Pass on sale for 14.99 with 30% off it was 10.50.

It's not a lie. You are given a redemption code via e-mail to download via Steam. The purchase is through GMG, the download is through Steam.

I was able to use my credit card on both purchases, but they were separate charges. My brother had to use a credit card on one and paypal on the second purchase. the coupon would not adjust both items in the cart. Both codes worked w/o a hitch on my Steam account.

another lolworthynote @cmkrzak22 - Buying the game + the season pass flagged my credit card for an automated fraud prevention call. I'll admit that I do bank with a smaller credit union, but its funny that they would flag 2 transactions for potential fraud because of a measly $31.

@viciousspike: Not a lie. You buy the activation code from GMG, but you download and active the game on steam. I just picked up the season pass for $10.50. Since just one DLC episode is $9.99 on Steam so the season pass for $10.50 is a steal. 51 cents more for all the DLC is an awesome deal.

As for the fraud alerts, I belive GMG is based in the UK, so that probably has something to do with it. I had to go through an extra verifiacation step with my card as well.

Side note: As it's a Steam activation, it also works with OS X. Gearbox did licensing differently than usual and ven though Aspyr did the porting, the game's available for both platforms on Steam.

I just downloaded another app at a constant 3.4MB/s (my Comcast capped speed).

I guess the BL2 content servers are getting a workout! :)
