Ouch! People buy games there for $55 or more? I haven't paid more than $20 for a game there since the ones where I lived were called funcoland.

I'm with lparsons. Here I was thinking this was a good deal to take advantage of but then it has this restriction on it. I mostly get DS/3DS games when buying from GameStop so even for brand-new games I might get this wouldn't apply, since the handheld games are never over $40. How disappointing.

I used to beg my parents to go to Funcoland. I still remember the catalog of games they kept in stock. It was my heaven.

I will have to agree with the others. Only time i go to gamestop is to buy used games that are under 20 dollars. I only bought 2 games that were over $20 from gamestop from the past year. They were both 25. The 50 dollar + requirement kill it. I wish they had something like 2 $20 games and get $5 off or something.

That's basically 18% off . Not so hot , when considering over a C note for a pair of games .

Yep. I have some games I bought through GameStop, but none over $20. Skyrim and The Witcher 2 are the only games I've ever paid full-price for, and in TW2's case, it was due to loyalty to the game developers and their work to re-do the first iteration correctly, as asked for by the community, and added content is always free. Skyrim, of course, 'cause I was plum sick of Oblivion, which is kinda ironic since I've become addicted to the Morrowind Overhaul mod collection. Heh.
