How much is "Light Use" in terms of hours...

vote-for4vote-against

@bigsinner: very good question. It is really not easy to estimate how many hours a TV have been used in terms of their condition. So for "Light Use", there might be slight scratches on the back or front of the unit, but the LCD screen will be absolutely clear of scratches.

Secondipity... almost bought from them a while back, but in doing research couldn't convince myself they were legit. Brand new at that time, I guess. Anyways, in researching now, there are a few concerns:

1. Specs listed on their own products are inconsistent - I see TVs listed with certain specs (1080p, for instance) that are then contradicted in the detailed specs when you click on it (i.e., 720p). Check this one, for instance - the Vizio E320VT. Header shows 1080p, detail description shows 1080p 42", detail bullets show 720p... it is indeed a 32" 720p according to model number.

2. Reviews on Google are spotty to say the least, a load of bad reviews warning of non-existent customer service and very poor product condition.

3. ResellerRatings.com has only 1 review.

4. Some of their prices (look at the Hannspree basketball-themed TV) are actually higher than retail for brand new product... looks like Secondipity's product is all refub/used.

Do some research, folks...

Just a heads-up that it doesn't appear that you can use this code in conjunction with TVs that are on sale. I tried it with a Vizio E422VL that's been marked down $10 and it didn't work.

@trdoc: I recently bought two refurbished Acer tablets from them and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. One of the AC adapters was DOA, but they promptly refunded me what it ended up costing me to buy a new one off of eBay, so I'm perfectly happy with how that situation turned out.

Couldn't find too many bad reviews about the seller so I tried getting the cheapest Vizio TV they have, The coupon worked well although the TV was already a few bucks off. All and all I got a $185 TV for $95.

Now just to see how it arrives.

@dracken: You couldn't find too many bad reviews?

I'd have to question your Google-fu, my man...

As for me, I am currently in the market to buy 2 more TVs, a 32" and a 37" or 42"... but with the reviews I found in a very simple search, I'm not going to risk my hard-earned money.

Good luck to those who do, I hope your experience is great.

I stand corrected. It looks like they now allow the code to be used with TVs that are on sale.

I highly recommend secondipity. I purchased a few e321VL vizios over a year ago and have had ZERO ISSUES with all 3. I plan on purchasing another one for my bedroom from them since i originally got the other ones for family. Mine also came with factory plastics still on them. . You can also purchase a square trade warranty on their products. I have been woot for a long time and i rarely find a reason to post but i did have great experiences with secondipity and just wanted to give my opinion

@bkplayer16: You can input the coupon code in the "Promotion Codes" box on the final checkout page, right after entering your payment information.
