I got $20 for $1 at a nice place near home. Good deal for me!

@baronz: no deals? You have to pick your city, or a city near you. Or tell it your city and it'll find you - it's not automatic. Sorry you have to do a little bit of work to get it (a click or two), but $1 for lunch seems to be a pretty darn good deal. I found quite a few places around where the value was anywhere from $10 to $20, for that measly little $1.

Or maybe you just live/work in the boonies and there's just nothing around you. :) Sorry for your tough luck!

@cheron98: who pooped in your cheerios this morning? ease up killer it was just a comment. I happen to be in Orlando which is a pretty big city and there were like 2 deals, one being from a Restaurant that recently had food safety violations. No Thanks, i'll pay full price along with @baronz!

I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, but I am in Chicago and I don't see any of these $1 lunch deals. It asks me to confirm my city, which I do, and then it kicks me to the Groupon Now page. I selected the Food & Drink deals to see if these deals are buried in there, and there wasn't anything for $1. You'd figure the third largest city in the US (and home of Groupon) would have at least one of these $1 deals.

Edit: OK, the site now finds one $1 deal that is sold out.

@baronz: It happens. Not in every city, and these often get posted on Groupon early, so by the time someone posts it here, many are long gone. I don't get up early, and this is the price I sometimes pay.

Guys, just because Groupon doesn't have a deal for you in your city, doesn't mean Groupon or the program sucks. It means that the merchants in your city isn't offering anything or isn't participating.

No reason to downvote the deal or anyone on this. If anything, maybe downvote your city. .-)

@geognerd: If you want Pakistani, there still available. Unfortunately for me, Milwaukee has no $1 offers today. :(

Two footlong subs - two chips - two drinks at a Subway in Raleigh for $1 (note - NOT ALL SUBWAYS - just one)...even if that's limited to $5 footlongs - you're talking almost $15 in savings...just noted it was sold out - but some people got great deals there...

Only one in NYC - well actually, in New Jersey. Which is a different state. Funny, if you live in Manhattan, very rarely do you hear someone say "let's hop over to Hoboken for lunch."

@milesor: Seriously... and it's not even a lunch... it's for frozen custards -.-

Just figured I'd chime in that Seattle and surrounding areas all have dozens and dozens of $1 deals from high end gourmet espresso places to full on lunches at all kinds of restaurants. So I'm with the previous commenter on saying down vote your city not the deal.

Not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I saw nothing for Austin when I got on at 9am local time (as soon as this deal opened). Did anyone see any $1 deals for Austin?

We're sorry, but the $1 lunch deals have sold out. The good news is that you can still find plenty of great local deals on demand with Groupon Now!"
