I just tried the coupon and it worked for me on the cart screen, so I think it's still live. Also, keep in mind the coupon is only good for the first 500 orders. Good luck everyone!

Just worked for me too. I bought one a few months ago and it worked fine.

@ksfan17: make sure if you typed the code that you didn't just make a typo, if you cut and pasted make sure there is not a trailing space. I know sometimes when I do that it adds an extra space that can throw it off.

Does anyone know if it will charge anything that has a usb adapter. The new droid chargers have the usb end now and the wall chargers have a usb port

Nice! just picked one up. These are great since you can essentially leave them in the 12V socket all of the time and they don't protrude.

@nawagner: in my experience, any charger that'll work with the GF's iPhone will always work with my EVO4. But I don't have this exact one to confirm yet.

@nawagner: These will work with anything that can be charged off a standard USB port.

I just used it and the code worked fine. Just make sure you have the correct number of digits (the 1 in the middle might be messing people up).

Smartphones often need 700-1000mA to charge. It doesn't state what the available charging curent is here, and a lot of chargers limit to around 400mA - a standard USB 2.0 port can supply 500mA, and devices were usually designed to work with them. Charge time goes up by more than the ratio of the available current, since the quiescent current of the device may be a significant proportion of the supply, leaving little for recharging the battery while on.

Just bought one, came up at $0.92 shipped! I've been meaning to build a better phone charger into my car, this is the ticket for doing it cheap!

Nice deal, especially since I just lost the one I had, but if you are just signing up with them you may want to use a secondary e-mail account for the spam.

I just saw these at Walgreens for about the same price.

Just worked for me. 0.82 + .08 tax for a $1 total

Just ordered one and it took two or three tries for it to work, but it did eventually. I couldn't copy and paste it, had to manually type it in. good buy hope it works well.

I ordered one of these last time they had the deal, and it worked for two weeks and died. I'm sure there is a lot of variability, but IMO if you want something that will likely last longer invest a few more bucks.

coupon not working... tried a few times and triple checked the spelling

@greatgazoo: Thanks for letting everyone know it's only for the first 500. I should have mentioned that in the first place.

vote-for1vote-against

It didn't work, the first 500 must have already used it.
