It's Bloomin' Onion Monday, 11/19, at The Outback Steakhouse
Order the Bloomin Onion' & mention RYAN NEWMAN to your server. The Bloomin' Onion will be FREE with any other menu purchase.
Note to Mods: This is NOT a free deal. You can't go into the Outback & mention Ryan's name to get a free Bloomin' Onion. You MUST order & pay for another menu item. Similar to a BOGO. ;-)
Yes, he placed in the top 10 again! (3rd in Homestead) And yes, these delicious deep-fried onions are full of empy calories. DO NOT eat it by yourself at the restaurant - share w/friends. Take it home to snack on.
"Ryan Newman's amazing top 10 finish in the #39 Chevy at Phoenix deserves a celebration. So this Monday, 11/19/2012, head into Outback Steakhouse and mention Ryan Newman to receive a FREE* Bloomin' Onion with any purchase."
If you don't know where the closest Outbacksteak house is located look here. No need to click on the link if you know where to go. ;-)
As I've previously suggested on other Bloomin' Onion days:
May I suggest the 'other' item you might order? A 4 course meal for $15. Order that, mention Ryan Newman & get that Bloomin' Onion at no extra charge! :-D
Going there tomorrow. Thanks
@gmwhit: I believe the 4 course meal promotion is over in most locations.
@evilluke: Oh, no! I hope it's still available. :-( Just checked & it appears to still be valid for me. Planning on ordering it later today for take-out. If not, I'll just get my usual salmon, baked potato w/everything, coconut shrimp. And a free bloomin' onion.
Perfect. Have to run to the mall today, and there is one right there. Can i just order a beer, and a free bloomin' onion, or do they make you buy a food item? That onion has more than enough calories. The concept of eating a meal along with a whole one of them makes me want to kill myself. Though I suppose that'd probably just be the natural result.
@gmwhit: They no longer have the 4 course meal for $15, they now have the steak & lobster combo meal.
At least by the menu prices at my store, the 4-course meal deal only saved you about 1.50 or so, but I think prices can vary by region.
The cheesy fries layered are by FAR better than the bloomin' onion, which tastes no different than Chili's bloomin' onion....
the ranch that accompanies the cheesy fries.. is TO. DIE. FOR.
Hmm, I don't think I want to start off a weekend of gluttony with this coloric monstrosity.
@tatterbits: Chilis stop selling their "Awesome Blossum" back in 2008.
Followed by Toilet-Emergency Tuesday!
@nirv117: oh my god.. ha ha too funny...well tells ya how often I ate it ( once ) and how long it has been since I have been there.. !!! Thanks for the clarification
These are mighty heavy on the calories, you certainly don't want to order this on your own, unless you plan on taking a great deal of it home. Total calories: 1959. Total calories from fat: 1450. You are supposed to share it with 5 other people.
Grabbed one of these with a side of fries as a TOGO order. $2.99 fed myself and my roommate until we felt gross and there's still some left over. Works for me.
