My daughter has one of these and she loves it.
*note: It says 'wifi' but don't expect internet access. The 'wifi' pretty much just connects you to their online bookstore for purchases.
I got one of these for $45 at TJ Maxx last summer. I went through 3 different ones until I got one that worked-- the first two froze, one upon initial startup and the other after doing its updates. Once I had one that worked I enjoyed it quite a bit, but all it does is books: no internet, no music, no movies. But for books it works just fine. Their on-board kobo bookstore is kind of a pain in the butt to use though.
I've since gotten a Kindle Fire, but I gave my old literati to a friend and she's enjoying it now.
