I downvoted because this was posted yesterday. I tried to find the posted deal, but was unable to. The original one (yesterday) was a linked to an article in a paper. So, since I can not find the original, I apologise for the downvote.

@pyxientx: It's nice to see someone voting with a conscience. I up-voted for you by proxy.

vote-for21vote-against

I upvoted because I just ate one for lunch.

Urrp!

vote-for10vote-against

I realize they picked these two subs because they were the cheapest to make... kinda sucks they're some of the most unhealthy subs they offer. :-(

Still an up vote for a good deal. And up votes for the positive attitudes in the comments. :-)

@pyxientx: For some reason the original was deleted last night along with the Burger King Fries deal -

The two worst subs on the menu. Way to appreciate your customers, Subway. :(

vote-for18vote-against

Just got back from my local subway. Just an fyi to you vegetarians the Veggie sub is also included (at least it was at mine). So you don't have to do the awkward ordering of a cold cut without meat thing some mentioned before. Or you could just get a meatball like I did :)

vote-for4vote-against

@theoneill555: I was looking for that Burger King fries deal because I mentioned it to someone this morning and they wanted me to send them the link.

vote-for8vote-against

@rookie3001: It might due to your link going to a newspaper article instead of Subway's website.

vote-for2vote-against

So if you don't eat meat, is it still $2

vote-for3vote-against

Not every Subway store appreciates their customers enough to accept this coupon. It's a real drag to watch a sandwich artist create your masterpiece and then not let you eat it.

vote-for5vote-against

@dman27: the veggie is included as I said in my comment

vote-for2vote-against

@dman27: Well, if not you could just order the cold cut and tell them to hold the cold cuts. >.>

vote-for4vote-against

@theoneill555 & @rookie3001: Thanks. At least I know I am not misremembering (is that even a word?)yet. They say age does that to a person. :)

vote-for4vote-against

@mortar235: The cold cut sandwich is not that great. I would rather have a veggie sandwich. They throw on extra veggies if you ask, for free. I always load up on the tomato and lettuce.

vote-for2vote-against

@dylanrulezz: All that lettuce is where they make the most money. And you're hungry again an hour later.

vote-for2vote-against

My local subway has advertised $2 6" meatball on and off for a while now.

vote-for1vote-against

The lovely thing about having a Subway near our university is that these subs, as well as the veggie one, are always $2 for us :D. Glad you all can join in on the funsies!

vote-for3vote-against

I love capitalism. "customer appreciation" as if in deciding to do this, they must sacrifice profits. One day I will start a submarine sandwich restaurant, and institute a special "$2 subs to make you happy and make me more money because it's what you want month." It's a win win for everybody, don't be shy to tell it like it is subway.

vote-for3vote-against

My university has their own subway and they charge $6.50 for the footlongs.... but they honor the $2 6" for the month! I'm so glad that I can munch on a meatball sub while studying for finals. :D

vote-for4vote-against

The Subway near my work is participating in this deal, but I think they have added the stipulation that you must buy a drink and chips with your order. It costs $2.70 to make it a combo, and the total prices without tax comes to $4.69.

Kind of kills the deal for me as I'd rather just buy a $5 footlong and have more options for sandwiches.

Is this the deal with all Subways or just the one near where I work??

vote-for3vote-against

@dylanrulezz: Then order the veggie... for the 3rd time.. it's included

vote-for2vote-against

@crazytank: Mine does not require purchase of anything beyond the sub itself

vote-for5vote-against

So can you just get a footlong meatball for $4?

vote-for2vote-against

@pyxientx: I was under the impression that you could change your vote at any time. i.e., change from a down-vote to an up-vote or vice versa, simply by clicking the up/down arrows again. Am I missing something?

vote-for3vote-against

@bigellow: Do you have voter's remorse? After a certain amount of time, a person can't change his/her vote. Quote: "Hmm... you're wanting to take your vote back?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation. Someday we'll do a little cartoon showing just how hard your vote is working.

Anyway, taking votes back messes all that up, so we give you five minutes, in case you just mis-clicked. After that we've got to say no take-backs. Luckily, votes are free, so feel free to throw them around left and right wherever you see fit."

vote-for4vote-against

I already knew about this, because we get Subway coupons in the mail and the latest one announced this. They had this in September, too. I love both of these sandwiches. I'm thinking I might get a meatball, tonight! They're mighty tasty. I get it on Italian bread, toasted, and just have them add pepperccinis and that's it.

vote-for2vote-against

@thebopster: Ah, I see. My bad. Thanks for the heads up!

vote-for2vote-against

@starbob: yes, they will ring it up as two 6" subs, if you're in california, taxes make it $4.31

vote-for-7vote-against

Wait, they sell sandwiches in the subway?

vote-for5vote-against

just hit my subway got 5 6" subs for $10 and fed the entire family.

vote-for2vote-against

If they are the two worst subs on the menu and if they are the unhealthiest subs have I got an idea for you. Just tell them to hold the meat and you have a veggie sub!!! Now, according to one poster it is not one of the two worst subs, and according to others, it is now the healtiest sub. Situation fixed. Or get the meat on the side and give it to your dog, cat, possum out back, or to those in need...such as putting in the meat in those Salvation army buckets...as they say, every little bit helps.

vote-for3vote-against

Another place where you might find a deal on a sandwich is your local deli. I get jam-packed sandwiches the size of little children for something under six bucks.

vote-for1vote-against

DO you need to present the coupon or just mention it? I clicked the link and all I saw was an advertisement and no coupon. So I was just wondering.

vote-for3vote-against

@kerowyn: It's an advertised promo in the store. No coupon needed.

vote-for1vote-against

$2 subs deal is active at the University of Central Florida! (all 3 on campus subways i believe, definitely the student union one)

vote-for1vote-against

Hmmm... Considering the cold cut combo consists of turkey bologna, turkey ham, and turkey salami, I think I will take the meatball sub.

vote-for1vote-against

UCF is doing it? Well, rest assured USF doesn't, then again we also pay 0.99c for refills.. so there we go. ^_^

But! I do have a subway near me that sometimes honors deals, usually not, but worth a shot. So thanks for the heads up!

vote-for1vote-against

This month's Subway deal has allowed me to sample other subs. I usually just get roast beef, but now I have tasted the Meatball sub and I lurve it.
